Wondering if anyone has played/interested in playing etc Mechwarrior RPG by fasa, though not exactly Mechwarrior something like it.

Are you taking about just fighting with mechs or are you taking about RPGing Characters who fight with mechs.

Rping the mechwarriors, but what iam thinking and am running on my own boards due to scope, is a Strategic game, where the players are playing successor lords, and running realms. Hence the check cause I have 2 players playing Draconis Combine and Free worlds league leaders, but I am running everything else.

I could possibly be talked into running the Federated Commonwealth perhaps if the game is in that era. If not perhaps as Hanse Davion then so my first question of course is what is the time frame your looking at or playing at present.


Just a little info on my BT exp....

I have played both the board game and the RPG game in the course of my life and in fact still play the board game at least once a year at our yearly gaming con.

I own every paperback novel, all the sourcebooks, eithier in print or on computer disk, and a few senerio packs dealing with the various clans like Wolf and Jade Falcon and Merc units like Wolf's Dragoons and the Kell Hounds.

I have even at one time played a BT game by mail which was alot of fun so I have alot of knownledge of the games.

So I await an answer to my first of possibly many questions.

Actually it is based in the year 3000 so before 4th succession war, and there are a couple deviations of course, like its not takahasi running DC atm but a different character.

So we will actually be human character in the Mechs?

No you would be playing the king/queen/leader of one of the successor states, Its the strategic game out of Combat Operations Book.

Now that is an idea I'd not thought of. Queen of a Star Empire. Hmmmmm Empress sounds good too.
