Butterfly's Leave of Absense
Notice to all games of which I am a part of... I will be unable to post until further notice.
As far as I know offhand, these are the affected games:
The Auguries of Destruction series
Witchcraft: Stare into the Night
Star Wars: Dawn of Defiance
Star Trek: No Good Deed
I am uncertain when I will be able to post again...
My grandfather is close to death's domain, if he hasn't already passed away... My immediate family and I are flying out tomorrow, hence the suddenness of this... I do apologize in advance...

Aww...
I don't even get a note?
Ah, well, best wishes go with you. I'll wait up for you until Shades starts complaining again, then I'll give your character some logical action or another.
I've never been great at knowing what say. My thoughts go with you?
We'll keep a candle lit for you like we had for me.
EDIT: Hugs from me, too--it's what I was designed for.

I know this is an untraditional thing to do but celebrate his life and don't morn his death.
What helped me when my grandmother died was keeping something of hers that helped me keep a connection to her, it was a tape player.
I'm sorry for the pain your feeling and it's always sad when someone dies.

Death
The droplet of water slipped away
The eleventh hour passed that day
There was no hope with which to wait
The damage done was simply too great
Sorrow cannot be expressed in word's confine
Nor in passive faces such as mine
Now another life is at its last bed
The eternal rest of the dead
In its place stands a void
That hollow feeling we can't avoid
Nothing will be able to take the place
Of that person I will never again face
... on a different note, I am not back yet; I'm at my grandparent's in the country, so my access is limited at best
I may be back soon, but I may still need more time... I'm not the most stable right now, because of a slew of things... I don't wish to elaborate further.

Understood...
...by more than a few of us, dear one.
Our hearts, thoughts, and prayers continue to be with you, of course, and we're glad you checked in, back or not.
We'll be here when you have found the path back and here, too, if you just need an ear or a shoulder along the way.
All our best to you, little sister.
