Realization...

"Plan?" I made a face that I thought would reveal my dislike of the word. "All I was thinking was we would burn them as we come across them." I spoke in a melancholy voice.

I then walked over to the mage and handed him the gold he asked for. I then looked back towards the rest of the group. I calmed himself and prepared to speak. Just before the first syllable left my mouth, I thought better of it. I closed my mouth and rethought my words.

"Well, I guess I am not the most tactically inclined. I prefer the position of ranged support to those in combat. I will leave it at that and allow others to develop strategies."

I slumped down into the chair. My excitement had gotten the better of me. I knew how to handle combat. But I had never done that much of it. Especially nothing that required group tactics. My inexperience in this type of thing was starting to truly sink in.

Some of the rest of these adventurers appeared to be far more experienced in actual adventuring than me. I guess all I can really do is listen and hope I have fallen into the right group.
