Hello I am new here as if you couldnt tell. I have never played any rules based RPGs but have alot of experience in freeform chat RPing.

I have been reading for a couple days and decided to join. I might try and join a Freeform game if I find something of interest.

Maybe I will start a solo game of my own meanderings. Who knows.

Ah... another free form chatter. That's how I started into all this craziness myself.

Don't be too afraid of the rules based stuff. Most of the DM's can walk you through anything and I've found that in the forum setting the rules are not as all encompasing as they are in a more 'tabletop' setting.

Um... the normal warnings... don't get caught feeding the Grugg. Check out the March Newsletter if you want to know why (end shameless plug by the editor for the Newsletter). Also here is a hanky for when Eol finds you, keep it handy.

If you need anything let us know. Names in purple or red are staff members, but the guys in blue are very nice and helpful too.

Rules scare me and I have issues with authority so I think I will stick with freeform for now.

I dont know what a Grugg or Eol are but I will keep an eye open for them.

I look forward to posting here I have read some interesting and wonderful stories and cant wait to join in. I hope I can live up to what I am reading of others.

I already fear for your innocence. I'm afraid even though Merideth was kind enough to give a warning, it'll be in vain. The truth is, that no matter how well you're prepared, Eol will get you in the end.

But have no fear, dear. Though he may seem.. hmm... somewhat intrusive at first, you'll soon find out the true beauty of his personality. After all, he wouldn't be part of our Staff, if he weren't such a fabulous dude. (This last part was of course here just to point out what a nice fellow I am too)

As for feeding the Grugg... Well that's up to you and the power of your will to fight the urge to do so. I can only say... don't. You might survive to regret it.

Anyhoo, as Meri and Raven have already pointed out, all of us staff-type odd-balls are always available to answer questions, help you out, etc, and, of course, our non-staff-type odd-balls are pretty darn handy, too, so, if you need anything, don't hesitate to fire off a PM, tack up a post, buy Eol a captain and coke, or whatever.

Welcome to the inn. It is always nice to gain a new innmate sometimes referred t0 as Huggy Bear (by me), is just a cuddly bear wit h an insatiable appetite, so he says all the time. This is why we say not to feed him. However, I never heard of him biting anyone.

Well I cant seem to find a freeform game that is actually doing anything. The one with the latest activity had the last post almost a month ago and the others are several months or more.

Guess I will keep my eyes open, keep reading, and maybe I will find something.
