The Flame Strike will be on my first round if I won't be hitting any of our party with that. If there is any party members within its 10ft rad then I will be doing the Mark of Doom on the Gnoll in F10. That's just for the first round. I know I can only do 1 spell per round for now as I don't have the quicken feat just yet.

I picked the celestial monkey from the Summon Monster 1 list on page 287. From the Monster Manual 1, it looks like you will need to go to the Monkey for base stats (MMI, page 276) then go to the Celestial Template (MMI, page 30) for the rest of the info. I can do the stats and everything if you let me know what you need to know for it info-wise.

I never wrote that Bruno got off. In fact, I said he put his ax away and had got hold of the reigns... to this, I do not know how you are confused with my action proposition.

Now, as far as your suggestions, I would gladly accept them if I can take back my character's mind set and post... if this is the case, should I just delete Bruno's post or should I rewrite it?

To change you mind set on a given tactical strategy doesn't require you to delete your post unless YOU think its the best way to go. You can just edit the post to reflect your tactical plans. Or you can leave it alone, make a new post, and as long as it is all thought out in your mind and not out loud, your actions or thoughts won't be thought of as wishy-washy or hesitant, by your comrades.

Im going to try and use my etools to get the stats for a celestial Monkey.

No that is not what I meant. As you can see from the map the gnolls are at least 10 ft of each other. so if you flame strike a gnoll that will be the only gnoll you hit. I wasn't talking area of effect, but only about range, which you have in spades (range 100ft + 10/lvl).

Yeah, when I first picked the moneky, i looked up what a colobus was and had that one in mind when I had Patrick cast the spell.

so i updated my last post to make Clearwater ready for battle, I also have him believing that this could still be a coordinated ambush, and that they could have laid some traps along the road and themselves as bait. If Bruno cannot perceive anything, would anyone disagree that he would rage and charge? With his past performance, i know he is honor based and his goal is to protect the wagon, his employer, and his friends. However, he is a barbarian warrior, and once he has the desire for combat he could forget all his manners and go straight into the fray.

I am asking this cause I am at a moral conundrum between power playing and role playing, both options seem plausible to me, and would like some group decision before I blatantly declare that I am going to draw first blood. The reason why I think it is acceptable to ask the rest of the group is because our group has been adventuring together in the past, so we would know where are niches are in battle.

don't wander to far off on your own. getting surrounded and killed by gnolls doesn't sound very fun.

If you charge into battle with the gnolls down the path you might want to work with Brianna so that you at least have someone with you the first few rounds. I'm sticking by Talon and the wagon because that rustling bush has Garrik paranoid. Patrick looks like he is hanging back at first, casting spells. Jozan is still AWOL.

Brianna decided to go cammo and hide in the forest but within line of sight of the forest on the other side to get the drop on any gnolls that come from the origin of the rustling in the bushes. so unless she changes gears, she wouldn't be much help to shades331.

Also come Sunday I'm updating the thread with the story form of the first round. If jozan hasn't posted by then I'll play him as an NPC.
