adventuring

Alright so i have been thinking about a campaign but don't know how i would do it. I want to do an adventuring campaign from the point of view of low leveled creatures (goblins, kobalds, etc) but i dont know how i would make the characters sheet. Anyone have any advice on a D20 modern way to create creature characters?

kobold

races of the dragon d&d 3.5 has kobolds in it as a playable race. The have special feats and everything.
I think i saw goblins in an old issue of dragon magazine as a playable race but i don't remember which one.
If you haven't looked at savage species take a look at it. It shows how to make monsters into playable classes.
Also check the monster manuals. Some races already have information in them that says for player characters or something similar.

he's right

Dragodorn is right, the Monster Manual offers information on a lot of those races. So you won't really need any other material than that.

Are you looking to do this campaign tabletop or here on the inn? I think a goblin game would be really cool, although it has been tried before, and I think it didn't find a lot of players.

But to all those non-believers out there, I urge you to read the short story 'Vision' by Roger E Moore, if you can find it. (it appeared in Realms of Infamy). Goblins can be terrifying.
