From a far away land...

I am coming to you all from a far away land...

That's right. Linux. I have officially formatted my hard drive and sworn off Windows. As a noob I decided on Ubuntu as it seemed the easiest to learn. I've been using Knoppix as a diagnostic and fixing tool for a while, but this is my first foray into full-time Linux.

So any tips out there for my poor noobish soul? xD

Have Fun

I've heard really good things about Linux myself, and if it supported more video games without having to mess with emulators I'd probably keep a partition on hand. Hope you have a smooth transition and kudos on kicking the Micro$oft habit. It may be tough, especially if you go through withdrawals, but you'll come out healthier at the end. *snicker*
