I ran across this game while looking for (naturally) adventure hooks. It works like this.

Someone posts a basic adventure hook, and someone else utterly changes it. (Cliches are preferred)

Example:

Innmate 1: A young dragon approaches the group...

Innmate 2: ...and cries to the party about how a knight came and slayed her parents.


So for starters, here's one

You're sitting around at the Red Dragon Inn. A mysterious stranger walks through the door...

... and breaks into disco dancing.

A young damsel covered in mud rushes into the Inn ...

... and offers to perform a quest for the party, wiping her Vorpal Greatsword +9 clean of Tarrasque blood using a dragon-skin cloth.

The adventure begins in a tavern, and the party round of drinks...

...of apple juice.

You pull the sword out of the stone and...

... the world's colors are sucked into the sword, as you hastily try to put it back into place even the color from your skin leaches away till the only color left in the world is eye color, then even that is pulled into the sword. Putting it back you look around at the world, hoping to see color where there is none to be seen except for in the shining sword before you.
