Well met, everyone!

A big Texas howdy to everyone! I'm Kevin, married with 1 son and 1 foster son and been playing rpg's since the early 1980's, and DM-ing since about 1988. Prefer 1st and 2nd ed AD&D for my gaming fix. My longest-running character is my namesake on the board, Oizmir, a mage of some reknown, who I've been playing on-and-off since 1994. He's basically relegated to NPC status in my games now, but pops his head up now and again.

Hope to get to know you all a bit better in the days to come!

Welcome!

Hi, Oizmir, and welcome to the Inn!

I hope you find this place to your liking: but if I may do so, I'll warn you to keep AWAY from Chessic. Most of the others are okay, the worst they do is lick your face, but Chessic...

Was that as wierd to read as it was to type?

Stay away from that Darren geezer too, for good measure!

Howdy!!

Welcome Oizmir!

We hope you'll find lots of roleplaying fun out here! Have a great time!

Don't forget to check out the recruitment area where games await you!

Why am I ending all my sentences with an exclamation mark!?!

Yes

... t'is a good plan to be checking out the Recruitment thread. You probably came here for a game or two, so that's a good place to start.

Welcome from a fellow Texan

As I see that Almerin has already welcomed you let me be another of the Inn’s Staff member’s to greet you and welcome you to our site. As you hopefully have already seen there’s a lot to do here for sure so take your time and get comfortable with our site. There are a wide variety of AD&D rules sets in use here, even at one time a game run on the very first rules edition.. Basic ..
Along with a number of varying game systems from Fantasy to the Sci-fi to the occult to plain horror there is always something for someone including even Free Form games here at the Inn.

The Inn has been around quite some time and for a great majority of us is a second home so please treat the Inn, its Staff and all it’s members with respect and we will treat you the same.

So again welcome I see by your intro post like me and a good portion of the Staff your a 2nd Edition hold out and thats always a good thing as we are at times outnumbered by the 3rd, 3.5, and slowly 4th edition converts .
And its always nice to have new people who love the old ways come to us and increase our 2e numbers.
I hope you’ll feel quite at home here so If you have any questions about the site feel free to PM myself or any other Staff member as needed.

Also here’s a towel, always keep it handy as Eol, another of member of our Staff has this tendency to lick newcomers and sometimes forgets who he has licked and then licks them again .

Last thing what part of Texas are you from, as I myself live in San Antonio, home of the Alamo.

Glad to have you. Get involved! It's the best way to enjoy the Inn. That being said...I'm back to the shadows.

thanks!

Thanks for the welcomes, guys! You make me feel at home already.

Tann'Talas, I live in Dallas now, and have for the past 15 years, but originally from Tyler-area in East Texas. My wife and I really like San Antonio, especially all the history in the city (and less traffic than Dallas!)

Are the facelicks bigger in Texas? Or is it just the faces?

Either way... I'm sure there's plenty of Eol-slobber to cover it... Seems I've been saving it up for months...

Welcome to our little corner of the World Weird Web, Innmate!
