Words

Empty words
are all I hear.
Lies upon lies
are what they are.

Cold words
cut me deeply.
Lasting pain
that never seems to fade.

Accusing words
let guilt destroy me.
Till everything
is my fault.

All these words
do so much damage,
but no one knows...
and no one cares.
