um...

I may lurk on occasion, but as a Wiccan living in the Bible Belt of the US, it's kind of shoved down my throat every day as it is, so I wouldn't be joining.

thats fair

but the way id begin is having everyone not sure what their character believes, but as they explore new cities and encounter new ideas. they might get an idea of what they believe-it could be buddhist, islam, animist, judist- the main ones, but a warning- they will be pushed out of comfort zones.

moved

I moved your thread to the recruitment forum as that is where this belongs to attract players.

I would suggest that you delvelop your game concept fully and then explain it to players who might be interested. You have been rather vague as to game mechanics so far and this doesn't strike me as a good one for freeform.

well

I just looked over the website for the system you said this was based on, and it seems to be pretty heavily rooted in medieval times and the old Catholic Church, around the time of the Holy Roman Empire.

Also it makes a great deal about high fantasy elements. The Jewish setting negates a very large portion of the source material for the game.

What you described departs quite a bit from the light-hearted nature of the system I read about. I again echo that you should spell out very specifically what you are looking for.

true

yeah, i have to write a paper, then ill work on it. by the way, which version-light or basic edition, light edition is slightly more focused. As for the mechanics, it is quite peculiar, it is a d20 game using a d12 for stat checks and the lower the roll, the better you suceed.

full title for the one i have is Holy Lands

the dark ages

light edition

Just keep ...

..... working on your adventure and those who want to participate will join in on the fun!

I do not have the time to participate presently, but as a minister of the Gospel will be looking on with interest as to how your concept develops here at the Inn.
