That's right, Innmates, even if it was for a too brief span, I had the honor and pleasure of meeting "The Man" himself (along with his lovely wife and the majority of his gorgeous kids), this weekend... And, gods love that webmaster of ours, he brought me a mixed sixer of some Confederate Dragon brewskis!!! *happy dance*

I've only sampled the Yorkshire Brown as of this writing but, lemme tell ya, folks, that has got to be one of THE BEST brown ales I have ever had! Even the wife loved it and she's not any kind of a fan of beer... Even a little.

Anyhoo... Just wanted to brag a little and, of course, thank Olan, again, for sharing the delectable fruits of his labor with li'l ol' me. Oh... Right... And to tell the rest of you that if the boss asks if you wanna try his homebrew, for the love o' pete, say YES! You won't be disappointed.

Well done, brewmeister! Well done!

So this Christmas, I received a nice haul of brewing gear. A week ago, I finally got to use it; I brewed my first all grain batch of beer.

Feel free to read along if you care to laugh at me. That's fine. I still made beer!

I just have to chime in to say that I love the logo up there by the title of your blog. Is it also homebrew?
