Ahoy There!

Howdy, all you dice-juggling, Funion chomping maniacs! This is my first foray into the wonderful world of these online RPG communtities, and to start things off, I think this whole site is redonkulously groovy; you guys seem really friendly and welcoming, and the whole atmosphere projects friendliness, a love of games, gaming, and fun, and high levels of all-around-awesome. Bravo!

My name as you may know it is Aleric, after the collection of numbers and stats that is probably my favorite out of all the characters I've ever rolled, Akeric Stevanson, a 3rd edition half-elf ranger who I've rerolled and reused about a bajillion times. He, and I, love fun, and people, and were both happy to meet y'all.

Chips Ahoy!

Well Welcome to the Inn Aleric; I am sure you will enjoy your stay here. That is unless you don’t like entertaining adventures and lively conversations?

In any case, welcome. Here is your towel. Cant believe I got to the be first one to do that? I never get to give out the towels. Keep it handy as you will need it eventually.

Welcome and enjoy!

Jack

A Big Welcome

Let me be the first of the Inn’s Staff member’s to welcome you to our site. As you hopefully have already seen there’s a lot to do here for sure so take your time and get comfortable with our site. There are a wide variety of AD&D rules sets in use here, even at one time a game run on the very first rules edition.. Basic .. Along with a number of varying game systems from Fantasy to the Sci-fi to the occult to plain horror there is always something for someone including even Free Form games here at the Inn. Also a good place to start here is “Pit F(r)iend's epic guide to getting started for newbies.”. Which itself was written by an Inn member to help new people just like you figure out how to navigate the halls of the Inn.

The Inn has been around quite some time and for a great majority of us is a second home so please treat the Inn, its Staff and all it’s members with respect and we will treat you the same.

So again welcome its always nice to have new people come to us and I hope you’ll feel quite at home here.
And though this is the greeting I post to all newcomers do not feel that I am not glad to see a new person come to our home, far from it. Its just easier and quicker this way as we do get a lot of newcomers at times. So then If you have any questions about the site feel free to PM myself or any other Staff member as needed.

Also here’s a towel, always keep it handy as Eol likes to lick newcomers and he sometimes forgets who he has licked and then licks them again .

Hello......... Time to add the Ody welcome.........

Yes a really good place to start here is “Pit F(r)iend's epic guide to getting started for newbies.” That help you figure out how to navigate the halls of the in.
To meet folks in real time pop into the DragonChat where I act as current resident bar tender. We offer our very own "Good Old Froth-n-Slosh", the stale pale ale with the foam on the bottom.

Just grab a mug off the mantel and draw a cold frosty one.

My assistant Igor is usually lurking around if I'm not there.

He never says anything, must have something to with having his tongue cut out by his last boss, that nasty bar tender over at the Orc Bar & Grill.
I'll have him put out a plate of "Lady Fingers" in your honor.

Reminds me we need to have another "Ladies Night" and restock.

Anyway the Posting Games are great place to get to know folks and of course the DragonChat is our favorite lounge.

So lurk or play, welcome to the Inn!

Hooray!

Mae govannen, Aleric!

I'm glad that you found your way here to the Inn! It's true, one big happy, dysfunctional family. *winks* I hope that your forray into online PBP RPGs is everything you could have wished for! Let us know if you have any questions about it. ^_^

Out of curiosity, how did you find the Inn initially?

I found it...

... By looking! I'm currently studying abroad in Israel/Palestine, which, for all it's middle-eastern charm, doesn't have much of a D&D community. So, craving the game, I searched for D&D online, almost idly, on the Internet, and HUZZAH! Here I am.

eol is away

so you may not get to use those towels unfortunatly

here is a map:
portals are straight foward
the rooms are to the right strafe
the market is on top of the under pavilion at the highest point of the inn
and the arcade is backwards, up, up, down, left, right, X and you should be on the upper pavilion which is two pavilions higher than the under pavilion when you do this, then take the elevatior sideways and then you should be at the back entrance to the monster zoo, enter the upper right hallway, beware the water cannons and land mines, and you should eather be in the arcade or the bathroom.
If you ever get lost the bar is always down the left hallway, Always, no matter where your at, except in the halls of endless wandering,
and if your feeling brave the grugg lair is accessed through the Q.

Avast! Bring us about, mates! The Cap'n's missed another one!

"Bring us broadsides, lads!"

"Load the spittle cannons!"

"FIRE!"

Good to have you aboard, Aleric! You can use that towel, now. *wink*
