I could use some help with ideas to develop two final levels for a table top game I am currently playing. The party in a barabarian group trying to unit the tribes in preperation of a coming big battle against evil that is trying to take over the world. (Bet you never heard that one before.)

Our leader must collect the 12 magic armor pieces to earn the right to lead the tribes. Each of the 12 tribes had been given one piece to protect until the great need arose and a clan leader would emerge to unit the tribes. He and his group must prove to each tribe that he deserves thier piece by doing some act of bravery, strength or wisdom. So far we have collected 10 and the enemy is growing strong so the great battle is coming. ( May be the next adventure.)

We have caught up to where our DM has written the story and he asked me to help him wrap up.

The party is at 10th and 11th level characters and we play a house rules modified 2.0.

The levels don't have to be increasing in difficulty or dependent on one to complete the other. The aquiring of the pieces was random, but all need to be collected.

I am looking for some plot ideas and possibly monster types to use to build the last two levels. This should be below Death Knight and Demon monsters. They are part of the story line for the greater battle.

So this is an open free for all. I need some brainstorming.

I'll tell you that just writing this up has got my idea juices churming again, but I'd love to see what you might add.

Well you could have one of them dropped down into a 'Well' because the Tribal Chief did not trust anyone to not steal the artifact.

Secondly, you could have the other artifact secreted atop a mountain where some 'Rocs' have made their nests all around the artifact.

Thanks Hammer, this is just the sort of stuff I'm looking to get.

The 'Well' is not just a common water well, but perhaps a deep labyrinth that they have to descend into like entering a dungeon from the roof.

Third Suggestion Kobalds have stolen the artifact from the Tribe during a raid and your party has to seek them out in their dens and tunnels to retrieve the artifact.

Fourth Suggestion Much like the previous suggestion, only the artifact has been seized by Lizard Men during a raid or battle with the Tribe and has been carried off into the nearby Swamp.

Wait until Wednesday or the Weekend and go see The Hobbit: Battle of the Five Armies to get some more inspiration!

There's always the old "Tournament of Champions" with a piece as a prize.
