"Losing my left hand was bad enough, having it grow back was even worse. It itches when I regenerate, and I figure a major body part was going to be agony.

"The paramedic took a look, and told me, 'With any luck your hand will get reattached, and there shouldn't be much loss of function.'

"I replied with, 'Thanks.'

"I got an odd look, as if he couldn't believe I could be sarcastic about such a thing. I ignored him because getting the part sewn back on wouldn't make a dang bit of difference."
