whoo!

I'll echo the sentiment being put forth by everyone else, it is good to see you back, even in such a limited capacity.

Yo

I feel like I owe you guys an update, as I haven't posted in a while.

First off apologies to those that have PMed me. I rarely log in so I'm pretty far behind in answering them. That said when I do read them they are quite welcome, and I'd be lying if I said I didn't review that video from last Christmas every once in a while to boost my spirit.

I really appreciate the well wishes beyond the ability to express it and wish I was more diligent in replying, which leads me to my recovery update. In terms of "treatment" I'm done the slate. 3 months of chemo, 6 surgeries and 8 months of movement recovery therapy. 90% of movement is recovered, though I've still lost quite a bit of muscle but thats more a function of time than anything.

The two major hurdles (and reason I'm not on the inn or computers in general) are my left hand and pain management. My left hand is to be blunt, extremely dumb, and while recovery of that is steady, it is slow. Which means my typing is slow. Painfully slow. This post is taking forever. The pain is largely due to massive amounts of nerve damage and muscle recovery but that's not as much an issue for me. No pain, no gain and I've gained a quite a bit considering Nov 22nd was literally the one-year anniversary of my death.

Anyway, this is my attempt to make up for a lack of activity by dumping a huge pile of text here. I sincerely miss you guys and I'll try to be around more regularly in the new year.

I hope everything is going well for everyone, and if you're looking to get in contact with me shoot me a PM, I promise I'll check them more and work it out.

Keep at it, every time I read your guys' work I get that much more inspired to get back to posting shape.

Thanks again, much love.

yeah

Dude, I was thinking about you the other day, when it hit me I was hearing Christmas songs on the radio and connecting that to the video from last year.

I hope you'll recover soon, that your left hand will regain it's intelligence and that we'll see you more active here on the site (look who's talking )!

.

How did I miss this update!? Glad to see that you're working hard and recovering, even if it's slow going. You definitely have popped into my thoughts a few times as the months rolled by, as I consider you a real solid friend. Years of Inn hijinks can't just be forgotten! Work hard and get back here asap, we're all missing you!

So good to hear from you!!!

The update is well received, Grugg!

Try some of that voice-to-text software, my friend. It's pretty good nowadays. Maybe we can see some more of you around here.
