Ok the new windows update totally screwed up all my WPS files. I am no longer able to open them so Trilogy, my NFL game and all my posts for the games I'm in are basically gone.

I downloaded and paid for Microsoft 365 but it seems to be unable to help me open the files or I'm using it wrong. The WPS files were created using Microsoft Works 7.0 and my computer all of sudden won't let me reinstall it.

Need help here Innmates or I'm down for the count till I find a way to open those files.

...would be to use Google Docs. It supports both formats, so you just open the wps and resave as a doc (or docx, or whatever it is now).

Ok every time I try open a file using DOC's tells me to download it and then opens it in Word gaining me lines of this.

Can you tell me how to use Google Docs as I have google chrome as a secondary browser with Microsoft Edge as my primary.
Getting very very desperate here Eol or anyone those files have everything I need to update Trilogy, the NFL game I mean all saved copy paste internet files damn near everything.

have you tried saving the file as .docx instead of having it as .wps ?

Also I'm able to open WPS files in microsoft word and it opens the text just fine. if you want do you mind emailing me a file and I can play around with it and see?

Ok I can open my WPS files once more however I have to reformat every single file to a DOCS one that can be opened with word.. ~Sigh~ That's gonna take forever, but thank you Ody you were a big help. I can slowly get my important documents opened and then all my game files. I owe you my fellow innmate
