Do replacement clones retain all of the memories of their previous iterations?

All memories up to the last few moments before death are available to the replacement clones.  Friend Computer has decided in its infinite wisdom that memories of death could cause serious mental health issues. 

An unfortunate side effect of this is that it can prevent clones form remembering who may have betrayed them, if such a thing were to ever occur...

Friend Computer should have the writers of Altered Carbon put to death for their treasonous, very similar writing.
