Hi everybody, I'm Grugg. It's been a while since I've been active here, and I'm sorry about that. I've been dealing with some health issues but I'm steadily getting better. Hopefully that will allow me to get back on here and get gaming with you all because I really miss that. This does bring me to my reason for posting here though.
MOVE Adapted Fitness is a Not for Profit Adapted, Supportive and Accessible gym for persons with Physical disabilities living in Victoria. Since my discharge from hospital I've been working extensively with them to rehab from my left half paralysis and have made great strides with their help. I've gone from being unable to sit up straight at all without pain while barely able to walk to being nearly functional in everything but my left arm, and even that's improving. Their staff is fantastic and I owe them a great deal more than I can ever repay, which brings me to my point.
On Oct 7th I'm running in an 8k to benefit the rehab gym. I'm fortunate to be in a position where I've regained enough mobility to even attempt this but they're fighting an uphill battle in helping everyone they want to. I'm not big on "causes" but I'll go out on a limb here and say if anyone deserves support it's the team of volunteers at this facility. They gave me a second shot at this whole thing, and they'll be able to do it a lot more with your help.
