I saw this article...

...and, at first, thought; "Well, when did D&D really disappear?"

Then, I actually read it and was like; "Yep! I can see how refreshing D&D for the new generations makes sense..." and then all of the other "subtle points hit me and...

Be ye old school, 3e, or next genm this is a great article, folks! Not a long read, really, but highly recommended.

Thanks for sharing, Tann!

My Story

As one of the new generation and a new player to DnD, this article hits the head on exactly what I love about the game. I only played my first games this past week and already have had such a blast and met so many amazing people. I was also introduced to the game through Critical Role, met my fellow players on Reddit, and got my hands on the PHB in an app first. DnD going digital has helped grow the community and been such a great resource for people like me who previously had no access to tabletop games.

Yay!!

If you haven't seen it yet, a nice long movie's worth of DnD run by the lovely Deborah Ann Woll is here: https://youtu.be/wBOReHUhVvs

Hadn't even heard of Book of Knowledge myself. Time well spent and loads of fun.

So...

...I've watched about the first 45 minutes of "The Book of Knowledge" and I've gotta say I would totally love to play with that group! Hoping to catch the rest later this evening. Thanks for sharing, Raven!
