Sadly, with all of the real life things going on, a couple of the games I have been in for a long time are taking a break.  This means I am finding myself short of characters and campaigns.  Are there any games out there currently looking for an active player?  My preference is D&D style games, but I have been active in just about anything you can imagine. 

With everything crazy going on I just don't have the time right now to run Trilogy War. However like Nomad I too have lost 1 of the games I was a player in and would love to join a new game Hook us up!

This has not garnered as much response as I had hoped.  Another possibility - I could run a 5e D&D campaign.   I might post that under new games.  Anyone interested?  5e.  Probably starting at second or third level.  I have a few options for the campaign.

I'm playing a 4th lvl 5th Edition Rogue in a Fantasy Ground/Discord game so I actually have learned 5e and have access to the manuels. Count me in as the party's Rogue Ever thought of doing it as a Discord game using the Fantasy Grounds or D&D Beyond web sites?

Do you mean playing live on Discord?  Or something else?  I don't know either site.

What we do is using headphones and mics we talk on Discord in a thread specifically created for the game and use Fantasy Grounds for dice rolling, our character sheets, game maps etc... Our next session is Saturday night the 20th maybe I can get our DM to let you sit in to see how it all works. We normally start at 8pm Central time but most of us are on Discord by 7:30pm Central. Our DM is on Pacific Time as he is in California.

Its pretty much table top D&D just with out being in the same room lol  Oh and Odyson is one of the players also and he is the one who got me into the game. 

I love the idea of a live game session, and a couple of years ago that would have worked well.  But right now if I took on another live game I think my wife would kill me.  But a play by post game allows me some flexibility.  So I think I would need to stick to the RDI format.

The only good thing about this pandemic is the wives have allowed the older players like Odyson to play twice a month rather then just one time lol

So you play in a live game? Table Top I assume?

Also let me ask around if your willing to run a 5e game I might be able to find a few players. Afterall Trilogy is on Hiatus remember. How many would be a good start?

I am open to a new game.  I could do 5th Edition but not super familiar with it.  Whatever the party needs I can play.

I was assuming 5e as I now know it best.  I could probably try third if everyone preferred - I'd have to look back at the rules.  Or way back to original AD&D. 

Yeah, I do have one 5e tabletop game I am in.  We used to meet meet twice a month at the local game store, but now with the pandemic we are actually meeting on Discord and roll20 and playing each week.
