You head back north to the crossroads and head east. You are on a path to a town. You see a sign that reads "Wilshire - East" The main path runs east to west

You stand before the gate to town. Wilshire, a small town, lies to the east while a dirt road lies to the west. Two guards stand at the gate which is open to allow visitors to and from the village of Wilshire

Thats a good try .. but you don't know where the shopkeeper might be ... when you do you can GOTO the correct spot on the map (numbered in zork goodies link) But for now .. lets say you go EAST. Basically this is like a mud .. so think of the commands you would be able to use ..

You pass through the gates and enter into the city. It is not a large city and you can see the town center and main fountain. To the north is a shop with a sign bearing the symbol of a blade. To the south is a shop bearing an armor symbol. The cobblestone is well worn here.

Standing inside what is obviously a weapons shop. You see many different items on display from blunt to martial weaponry. Some ranged items as well. They all seem to be tagged at ridiculous prices. A man sits behind the counter.
