Love the V-Day!

Alacrity and I had our first date on Valentine's Day, and several years later, he proposed on Valentine's Day, at the same restaurant.

The restaurant is long gone, but Al and I are stronger than ever.

My hubby & I intended to get married on V day but it didn't fall on a weekend that year so in order to have his family there we had to do it early...on the 10th

Same for my baby sister

She wanted Valentine's day but it was booked solid. They were married on the 7th, so celebrated Vday on their honeymoon. They just celebrated their 10th anniversary, and my other sister just got engaged last weekend.

So it's official...the Parent girls are all taken

hrm

Maybe not traditional romance to everyone, but a couple years back, my wife gave me a baseball glove for my birthday... inside of the glove were tickets to a Cubs-Cardinals game at Wrigley Field. Being a lifetime Cubs fan (who lived in Alabama, not Illinois), that was a huge gesture.
