Topic: Cerebral Paradox - Mature Content Subject: What's the plan, Boss Man?
Coyote nodded his agreement with Preacher, speaking softly, "Si. Preacherman's is right, man. Frackin' lot's loaded with them frackin' vids, man. Even got a frackin' gunner up frackin' top, man. Frack!" The hispanic's accent was thick.
Turning to Croaker, he continued, "So... what's the plan, Boss man?"

Topic: The Chakran Portal - an Audalis Adventure Subject: Me too!
I was sad too (for me) at how quickly this game filled up. I had heard how good a DM you were... ah well.
Should you have TWO droppers, look me up! I'd love to play. Not sure what yet... but would love to play none the less!

Topic: Cerebral Paradox - Cyberpunk 2020 Subject: Is that what is holding up the game?
Is that why we are at a stand still? We need to come up with a plan to get Merry Deth out? I thought we were waiting for the DM to post.
Alright, well, I suppose I'll wait until you post your idea on Wednesday.

Topic: Cerebral Paradox - Mature Content Subject: Cool as a frozen cucumber...
As the tension in the van subsided, and the conversation moved on to how the group might assault the Hole, Coyote sat silently beside his slick-tongued charge.
Not good, man, the barrel of a man thought to himself. He had known all along that it might come to this The action is happening way to fast.
Coyote kept his thoughts to himself and busied himself by taking out his uzi and rechecking the magazine. Finding a full clip, plus one in the chamber, he slammed the magazine back in place and returned it to his waist.
The thought of assaulting the Wild Things main base of operations did not excite the big man. He had known all along it might come to this... but with these people... Coyote thumbed his nose and sniffed as he looked around the van. I hardly know who to trust.
Taking out his Colt AMT 2000, he proceeded to give the weapon the same treatment... full clip, plus one. As he did, Coyote readied himself for what would happen next. I wish Lobo was here...

... but is it possible for you to point out the items of interest as well? Such as, where we are in relation to the map, where the Hole is, what the other buildings are, etc.
Thanks. Nice map, BTW.

Topic: Cerebral Paradox - Cyberpunk 2020 Subject: Introductions... and such
Hey...
Sorry all for that just "jump right in and post" post without formal intros and stuff. But, yes, its true... I am the new player to the game. I suspect Brom will confirm this soon enough. He did say in the PM to me to just post Coyote's response to the scenerio.
Regarding the scene, sorry, Dark Autumn... you were right. You had posted that Peacekeeper's gun was pointing at Coyote, not touching him. My apologies again, I misread it. I have since editted my post to reflect that.
Regarding the "face off" as Brom put it... I envision Coyote would have drawn his weapon when he noticed Croaker pull his... it is Coyote's job as a bodyguard and all. I think my post as it reads now still allows Peacekeeper to be the faster draw (if that is indeed the case).
My post also follows along with the rest of how the conversation went... Coyote lowers his weapon when Spiff indicates him to... and Spiff and Croaker work it out.
If you think Peacekeeper would have shot Coyote at the sight of his gun raised, then I guess she'll shoot... and we'll see how it plays/ rolls out. If Coyote dies, I'll have to reroll a character. No big deal... like Brom said, "this is 'punk."
Anyway... like I said, sorry for the jump in without the posting intros.
Looking forward to playing with you.

Topic: Cerebral Paradox - Mature Content Subject: Hey... just joining in... with the a-okay of the big boss man
OOC: A bit of a back post...
“Yo!” Coyote yelped as Croaker pulled out his gun. “Wha’ th’ frack, hombre!?! Wha’ th’ frack, man!” The uzi he was packing still sat in his back waistline since Spiff had wanted to play it cool, but when the action started, the ganger had managed to get his hand behind his back. That was as far as he got though.
Coyote knew that there was a gun trained on him somewhere... he had expected it. At least one for sure.
His blood raced as he looked to keep his cool – this was the danger of his job… you just never know when everything’s going to go to fracking shit. Looking up briefly, sure enough, Coyote found himself staring down Peacekeeper's piece. Nice.
The bodyguard didn't move, tried to keep his composure. He'd been in this situation before of course... but most of the time, he would be the one to talk his way out of danger.
I just hope Spiff knows how to handle himself… keep it cool…
The fixer put his phone away slowly and motioned for his bodyguard to release his gun. Coyote, knowing it wouldn’t really matter in the end, moved his hand away from the uzi, cool and slowly like.
Croaker asked Firewind to disarm the bodyguard, but Spiff interrupted and looked to chill the heated situation.
Nicely done, hombre, Coyote thought. Just might make it out tonight… Coyote held his weapon by his side again, smiled nicely to Peacekeeper.
(OOC: Welcome to the game Blammm. I edited your post for continuity sake. Coyote never pulled his uzi when stepping into the van so he would not have been able to react. His initiative roll was also abysmal, though you could not have known that since I never relayed that to you. My bad. In any case, we'll move forward from here with Coyote never having pulled his weapon and no need--yet--for anyone to shoot anyone else.)
