Welcome Keeper of Dragons!

KoD, glad you could post. Feel free to move the post itself to the game thread.

I've been reminded that I have a two hour layover in L.A. on the 14th, so I may post them if everything turns out well.

Ayrn, if you can't get a post up perhaps you could PM me with Blossom's preferred actions should the group fight, should the group go defensive, and should the group continue their hasty retreat.

Giddy!? You told me you'd have a post up soon. Is that still happening?

Yeah...

I apologize. I've just got a post up, and I will edit it accordingly with answers to these questions three:

I'm assuming that Blossom has hurt her ankle or something of that sorts. Is that what it looks like to Bloodbank?

Would a Stim help her be able to move around little easier, or am I misunderstanding the effects of those drugs?

What does this tunnel look like? Are there pillars or something of the sorts that we'd be able hide behind or use as cover?

I apologize everyone, I've been really busy. I'll try to keep more in the loop.

Answers!

I have returned from the Gathering Place and am going to strive to move the game forward either today or tomorrow.

Giddy, here's the answers to your questions:

1. Your visual assessment would confirm that she's either hurt her ankle or foot. This is a purely visual assessment though and a more thorough analysis using your medical scanner may return a different diagnosis.

2. A STIM might suffice to dull the pain enough for her to press on. Remember, the drug itself only adds a bonus to her Endurance check, and only for a short duration.

3. Consider the tunnel very similar to this: click here
Great posts, everyone. Thanks for your patience.

Quite the tunnel...

Unfortunately the tunnel picture is not showing up on my computer. Anyone else having this issue?

In combat, would activating my bracer into the drug administrator (I cannot remember what it's actually called for the life of me) count as an action, or would that be a free move?

Well, that's a first...

Sorry folks! The image source link was good, but I think that the Inn is having problems reconciling HTML code within the forums. I've changed it to a link instead, so let me know if that doesn't work for you.

Activating NuCybe that's been dormant takes one combat phase. Remember, one combat phase is 3 seconds of action.

I've posted a continuance...

All right, my squishy little Edgerunners! I've posted moving the game forward.

Hammer, Tann, and Vesper. Your characters have all avoided a potential cluster, but who knows! The night is young, and you have plenty of opportunity to fix that particular problem. The question lies before you of what your next action will be. You've another seven minutes (or so) before the earliest possible time Starlight will deliver your goods.

Ayrn, Giddy, Keeper of Dragons, and Aletheia your characters are in the mix. Consider this the start of the combat round. Because you Chombattas were running, the sec-team started the round. You each have your choice of your character's next actions for the next three seconds.

Looking forward to seeing this progress!

I normally post...

So, I normally post Monday mornings. However, due to my vacation, I ended up posting much later in the week last week. I want to move the game forward by Wednesday. So, I'll give this week to get everything back on schedule and then post next Monday.

Quite the predicament...

Keeper of Dragons, Aletheia, and Ayrn, it seems we have found ourselves in a bit of a sticky situation. Do you have any suggestions?

I'm all for not stopping and becoming holey men and women, but I don't think we'd make it to the exit in time. It'd be about 3 combat phases to reach the exit according to Bromern. Either of you have any fancy gadgets or trinkets that they might be able to put in play?

hmmm

Are there any other people or any traffic in the tunnel or is it just us and the police?

We could turn and fight now.

Tunnel Situation

Your characters are in a maintenance tunnel on a walkway that is barely wide enough for two people in extremely close proximity to traverse side-by-side. There is an iron bar gate between you and the platform upon which the populace of High City are scrambling away from the gunfire being sent your way. The sec-team are on the public side of the gate—though not for long as they have access codes—and have fired a three-round volley your way through the gate. That shot may, or may not have been, a warning shot while they are yelling at you to surrender through a megaphone. After all, it would be reasonable to think (especially for Ghlahn) that shooting you fleeing Edgerunners in the back at this point would be like shooting fish in a barrel.

Keep in mind that the RUN and SPRINT stats on your character sheet is in meters.

Here's the map showing your positions and the end goal for Combat Phase 1: MAP
And here's a technical description of the situation:

The train car is 4.57 meters in height plus the additional meter for the wheels minus the height of the 1.5 meters for the distance of the walkway over the tracks which means that the top of the train car to the walkway is roughly 4 meters. The access door that you are all trying to get to will be discovered 100 meters down the tunnel. The door will likely be locked and require a keycard and bioscanner access to open (you'll need to wardrive again, or otherwise by-pass security). Remember that a combat phase is 3 seconds and with Blossom's current state, RUN is the best you folks can do.
