Topic: The Gobber King- QnA
Subject: What's left?

If i can know what there is, I'll fill in a spot somewhere, I guess either a full fledged rogue or mage. I'll need help with the making, lost all of my 2e books sometime ago with one move or another.

I'm def interested in this, give me a night to give a char concept a whirl. Been away from here awhile just glad I remembered my password.

I could do a char concept that's based off of me if that's acceptable.

Subject: Been Looking

Go ahead and count me in. I've been looking for a game; I see that there is a Rogue, sorecerer, and a ranger, so I guess I can go for the group's cleric of sorts. Just throw me a list of deities or what not or of the typical religion; Audalis, dnd pantheon, etc.....

Subject: Vesper's Return

I know I have been gone for a time but am now back. Due to suffering severe hearing loss from my job, I am going up for a medical board and possibly seperated. This is supposed to be a lengthy process, several months, and I am not allowed to go to the field or do any training where I may be hurt do the fact it may slow the board down (which is like everything the infantry does). Thusly, I am now looking for a game and will pick up one (or two) if there is an open slot somewhere. I am a little rusty on the rules and my books are located 1500 miles away. PM me or respond to this if you have a position for me. Would be willing to pick up almost any char class that is needed.

I also hope to meet back up with all those old contacts which may still be lurking around. Kaelyn, Grugg, Olan, Tann and many others.

It has been a time, a time that has crawled be ever so slowly. Almost done with my float and should be returning to try to pick up a game or two here at the inn. To those who know me, may we greet each other as old comrades, and to those who have come along in more recent time, may we journey with each through time and multiverse.

Melanie let herself be guided to the back table, cozied up next to Kane who was now supposedly one 'Crane'. This new guy hands Kane a portable viewer as they make their way to the table and sit down. With their backs to the wall, the viewer is powered up and the screen flickers to life. Its blueprints, some to places that Melanie could identify with others, more than not, to places she had no clue about.

“There you go,” he says quietly, “The codes and accesses are all there, and I’ll give you the master key to get to them, as soon as you give me the FY disk like we agreed.”

It was Perdition, a few memories comin back, more bad than good. Melanie didn't know about any FY disc and slipped her hand beneath the table to unsnap the strap holdin her pistol in place and drawing out as quietly as possible to hold it on the top of her leg with her hand around the trigger and thumb ready to release the safety. Now it was all up to Crane as to what happened, but she was NOT gonna let them get away with that disc. All of them needed the money way too much.

(OOC: okay, if she is seen pullin her pistol, she'll claim because she's just edgy and likes to take a precaution but will not put it up. If they try to leave with the disc, whe will take it at gunpoint and try to convince them that it best they give it up.)

Subject: Blondes and discs

So far, not so good. He was late by five minutes already, and people were starting to get a little restless, especially Kane. The man had already finished his drink and though none of them really had the cash for extras, he strode up to the bar to refill it. Melanie understood they needed a job badly or they would have to sink to more dire measures, and the woman hated thievin and the like, preferred the honest sort of work. Lettin those who depended on her starve, though, was not an option.

It was an asian man that came up to Kane at the bar; Melanie didn't recognize him but was curious to see if her counterpart did. Curiousity though was known to kill cats, and she was not about to become a cat. The not havin the whole nine lives part was part of it, but it was more of the fact that her common sense that overrode her curiousity.

At the table, Phil asked out loud, “Who’s that guy? Is that Watson?”

Mel shook her head, “No. No idea who he is.”

“What does he want with Kane?” Grace asked.

“He has a disk. Wants Kane to look at it. Seems to believe we paid him for it.” Angela answered while staring at the two men.

“You can hear them?”

“No. His lips speak. He wants to know if Kane is happy with a blonde.” She replied absently.

"A blonde," Mel chuckled,"they're overrated." A thought ran through her mind. "You three stay here, and I mean it. Let me try something."

Melanie strode up to the bar without waiting for anyone to suggest otherwise on what she said. She hated complaints and generally tended to know how to get things done. Without waiting for the two men to discuss things to much, Kane had already spoken back to the man, she nuzzled up to his back and draped her right arm over his shoulder while slouching down on him to wrap her left around his midsection.

"Is this why you came here to do business tonight baby, is this the guy with the disc?" Melanie spoke in a voice that was lazy and disinterested, hopin Kane would play along before lookin at the Asian. "Red is oh so much better than blonde, don't you think?"

The last comment was meant to perhaps throw this new guy off balance.

(One thing, mel's handgun is in a drop leg holster, more on her thigh than hip, just thought I'd put in that correction even though it is more rp purpose than anything else.)

Subject: moon clip

You have full moon (6) and half moon (3, one in every other slot) clips for revolvers. They are round with holes where you place the actual round and are real thin to fit into the small gap in between the cernterpiece of the revolver and the back of it. You may have been thinking of a banana clip which is the style of magazine that usually goes in a AK and is crescent shape.

Will get the pdf's mailed to you, have them downloaded already.
