Worked six hours on a fence yesterday before it threatened to start raining. Being paid $7 an hour but I really want to get this job done. Im a carpenter by trade and my specialty is framing and building sheds but have built a fence or two in the past. The guy that hired me talks at me like I don't know what Im doing. If I could take a flat fee and forgo the arguing and him standing over my shoulder, and lecturing me on my work habits, that's the way I would want it.

He tells me to come back at 8:00 this morning and he says hes got to think about how to proceed, whether he still wants me for the job or what. Feeling a bit insulted right now. I still get paid for the frustration and epic failure of yesterday (Trying to rush through the job, cutting corners, and using second rate materials, per his instructions on how he wants the job done). However, my reputation as a third generation carpenter is on the line.

OK my rant is over.

On the lighter side of things, I get to rest a bit today and try and work out the soreness of my muscles and joints from yesterday's work.

Well its been a very very crappy day for me...I have a killer sore throat, and the band I wanted to watch cancelled I`m soooo unhappy about it...I drag myself out of the house to go see them, just for the dj to let me know only one member showed up, and the others werent coming...so I paid $10 to get in to see them, spent like 10 mins there and left....

Throat is killing me, looks like my tonsils are irritated, so if it gets worse tomorrow I will go to the walk-in clinic to get it all checked out.

Well a new campaign starts for me tomorrow with my new character, Cassius Stormwrought. Unusual path for me to follow, I usually play mages, but this guy is going to be a TANK. Hes a half-dragon fighter. You can read up on his background in creativity forums.

Weather has been decent here in the Florida panhandle, hope things stay that way.

Sorry to hear that T. It seems that there is a lot bad sh*t going on for folks. There is a crap load of stress from weather, jobs, school, family. I'll keep a good thought for you. Most things can worked out, I hope yours will be.
