My biggest disappointment is...

The platform upon which it will be aired. $10/month to watch and I already pay for other services (like you said). For one show? I'd have a hard time justifying that even for 4-5 episodes a month no matter how good it is.

Hey folks...

Sorry about the sudden departure, we had a family emergency that needed to be dealt with, I found all my time taken up by trips to the hospital and labs. I should have posted something. I'm back though.

FYI

I will be giving a training all week next week, 9-5 each day. I give these training classes once a quarter and inevitably, they exhaust me. So, don't look for much from me next week.

So... is this a representation of another franchise's tagline?

In space, no one can hear you scream...

It's sooooo quiet.

I was thinking the same thing...

...sitting her contemplating a post from elsewhere aboard the ship (or out on one of the shuttles) just to break the silence.

Stick?............

Ok..not a lot but a little to build on.

Will I need a little "inside" information when John tries to beam aboard the survivors?

My next post will have them in range and Tolaris will be scanning the ship and locking on to a life form to bean over.

Works for me!

I've taken what you put together and played off of it. Now there's a bit more to use for other players as well.

Shuttle...........

Brom... you and I may need to make a few adjustments to our posts on crew size.

The Type-8 holds 2 flight crew and six passengers. Berk was instructed by the Captain to send six security folk to retrieve the survivors. I had Reid reduce his usual teams to allow him to lead and keep the six as requested. We have now added a Med person so we now have nine on board. I'll amend my earlier post reduce the security team by one more to allow for the nurse.

It says the type-8 has a large cargo area that allow for the additional six passengers, I figure that refers to fold down seating along the bulkheads but there should be plenty of aisle and floor space to handle the five survivors. The prisoners will be shackled in the seats or to securing tie down mounts usually located on the floor to hold cargo in place.

Based upon the frame of the Type-6, the Type-8 Shuttlecraft is the most capable follow-up in the realm of personnel shuttles. Only slightly larger, the Type-8 is equipped with a medium-range transporter and has the ability to travel within a planet's atmosphere. With a large cargo area that can also seat six passengers, the shuttle is a capable transport craft. Slowly replacing its elder parent craft, the Type-8 is now seeing rapid deployment on all medium to large starships, as well as to Starbases and stations throughout the Federation.
I would guess there are two jump seats backed against front pilot and copilot. Then two foldout seats on each bulkhead. That would leave the usual cargo area aft still fairly open. Although I didn't find a cross section of the newer shuttles in my Star Fleet Tech Manual it shows the older style and this could be consistent.

As for being naked, John has dealt with fanatical groups before and feels this is a suicide mission so he is not worried about hurting their feelings. I'll post that in my response to the nurse.

I thought the group was in a Type-10.

I'm more than happy to adjust where needed. I was writing after a long day of creating training material. It is highly possible that I wasn't on point.

Adjusted........

I edited the shuttle bay post to include Nurse Toriak on the away team.

FYI, the security team is:
Lt Reid
PO Bryan Brady
PO Enpok T'Darin
CM Salia Rotet
CM James Galla

The posts should all work if Brom bumps his post to change the 4 to 8 for crew size.

That helps.

Not a problem.

Just a reminder that I'll be focusing entirely on the real world this week.
