So there comes a day when I actually do what I have said I was going to do, and what I am going to do is to let all of you who are interested buy what ever you like for the XP you have earned.

This is how I would like things to progress: You post here on this thread a list of what it is that you want to spend your XP on. You can spend as much as you like or as little, or simply not spend anything at all. I will then make comments on those lists, if needed (don't expect it unless I find faults in your calculations). Your list must include what it is that you are spending your XP on, down to the last dot, and preferably how much XP it will cost you.

The XP will effectively be spent after the next update on Saturday, so you will have one more XP if you have posted before then. You won't have to bring in your wishlist before a certain date, so from now on you can spend all your XP at any time during play.

You may notice that this will increase your abilities considerably in the middle of what ever you are doing without any reference to training time. Unless that completely derails the game and turns it into a complete hack'n'slash, it doesn't really matter.

You can of course PM me if you prefer it, but I think you all should be allowed to know what your fellow players are spending their XP on.

I haven't updated today, as some of you may have noticed. Had guests over, my brother is visiting for the Easter and this day has just overall been way busy for me.

I will make an honest attempt at updating tomorrow. Hopefully you won't be too annoyed about all this.

Having someone staying over for over a week apparently has some destructive effects on my abilities to update the game. I will update today or tomorrow but don't expect another update for another week.

Does my prelude character get the benefit of the +25xp bonus?

Not unless you intend to play him as a mortal. If you are going to play him as something else (vampire, werewolf, whatever) you don't get the benefit of +25XP.

Vorrioch, I didn't know if Hiram had manifested or not. If he did manifest I did roll for him and the roll failed. If he did not manifest, the roll automatically failed. The only difference is that you would have spent a point of Essence if you manifested

Adding in XP, now.

I didn't think that manifesting cost any Essence at all. Unless you're house-ruling it... *shrugs*.

In either case he will indeed have manifested, and will try to make another attack on the spirit next round.

Sorry about that, Vorrioch. I double checked the book and you were right. If I had houseruled it, I would have let you know, but you can manifest without the cost of Essence.

And GT, yes you can get Dominate 3 if you like and are willing to pay the cost.

I gave you Dominate 3, which cost you 15 XP (3x5). You can now use it as you please.

Here is a question though for all of you to consider: Would you prefer if I would stop trying to update twice a week and slow it down to once a week?

I've updated. I'm using another computer still, so I had some trouble finding some specific keys on the keyboard, which is why there is nothing Bold or Italic. I will edit it to make it look like the other Updates when I get the internet in my own computer at the latest.

As far as Hiram can tell, is Father Winters dead or just badly injured?

Also, I’ve been looking over a few of the rules… am I correct in understanding that it’s actually impossible for a Ghost to destroy a Spirit? Without draining a Spirit of Essence the most that’s possible is to force it to discorporate for a few days.
