Fireballs are very distracting
I hope to sit down tonight and write a post.
Adrian - you do have Killer. He can do some recon and communicate back to you. Basic stuff (found some nuts!, oh! and group of men, oh! I found some nuts!).

Killer
I was thinking more along the the lines of a fog cloud or maybe a summmoned monster charging straight at the gates lol

Well, (much to Adrian's chagrin, I'm sure)...
...Jal seems to have an abundance of spells that would be conducive to deception and sneaking about - Invisibility, wraithform, spiderclimb, etc... Geez, but could I get creative with a handful or two of these.
By the by, Al, Jal will more than happily cast invisibility on Dapple and Char if they wish... heck, he'll even feather fall or fly them off the cliff if they want.

Any magically created diversions will alert the reds faster than Paris Hilton can lose her underwear.

Unless I hear otherwise
I am going to assume the following:
Dapple - Taking Invisibility for 1000, Alex. - recon
Char - Will rely on skill, courage and well matched clothing - recon
Talas - Big guys can't sneak - setting up camp
Arien - Armour clad dude, nuff said - setting up camp
Kilgim - Dwarves never sneak. Setting up camp
Adrian - Using Killer to scout on his own terms - camp
Jal - Willing to cast magic for food - camp
Evil Dudes - Wait in Keep until opportune moment to spring trap.
Feel free to pm, email, call, smoke signal me if you want to add something.

Actions
Adrian will stay alert and watch for any signs that Char and Da'Moon have been spotted, as well as watch for their signal.

Updates
Well the plan was to update everything last night but events conspired against me. I have hurt my right foot somehow and can barely walk - spent most of last night with it up in the air (and pain...lots of pain). All this and I have a job interview today as well.
I hope to be up and about again by the weekend. Sorry for the delay.

Well we know you didn't trip over your hair, anyway.
No problem, Al. Take it easy, get better, and good luck on your interview. Hope all goes well. We'll be here when you get back.

updates
Will there be another update after that one, or is this a time for Dapple and Char to shine? I can post a small Tann-esque post, but I can't think of much else to put.

well
I would like Char or Dapple to post themselves returning. Othrwise I could update with the Killer chipmonk.
The problem is I don't want to do too much leading you by the noses but also make each week post significant for every player. The group waiting couls start planning the evening assault based on visual sightings. (Use the sewer if they check out, other options, need a distraction, is setting the tower on fire a distraction or an attack, etc etc)

Killer Chipmonks?
When I was first gaming we let one of our friends DM who had never done it before. He was a little crazy wild and enjoyed stirring things up. My long time gaming buddy and I were eager to play together for once since it was usually one of us who were the DM so we cracked open or favorite characters and dropped the dice on the table... we were eventually attacked by killer, flying beavers... that was the last time that friend ever DM'd.
