Sorry for the unavailability this week, I've been working my butt off.

I am glad we are back to the actual "posting", I will find ways to streamline combat in the future.

To that end, a couple things I want to ask you lot, feel free to post your thoughts here.

1) Do you think we could get to a combat update twice a week?
2) Did you think I was too tough on the rules in combat? I try to give rule of cool when called for (mage handing a sword and whatnot) but I figure if I`m going to give a huge open world I need to follow the rules to stop things from going completely off the rails, thoughts?
3) Did that combat need more goats?

Since you asked....

1) I can definitely work with that.

2) Probably not the best person to ask, as I was the only one put down. Not sure if anything I could answer would be unbiased, you know? I am not unsatisfied with how battle has been so far though.

3) Of course.

Checking in.

1. I can do it. It just might have to be on my phone.
2. I wish I could hide better after a snipe, as silly as that sounds, what with how effective I was. I just know from real life that I can shoot an air rifle at a target, and duck back down unseen, and I don't have the advantage of night, or a giant wheatfield on my side. In my minds eye I can't imagine little 2'9" Calopee getting spotted, but I realize that's precisely why the rules are in place. To keep it fair. However, I've come to realize that, like all ranged rogues, without cover and brilliant tactics, my use will be highly diminished in combat. It's not really a complaint. I've been looking into alternative ways to get a good shot in. I'm just curious as to my future as Calopee. Haha.
3. No... That is all.

Edit: To be clear, I hunt people, but I don't kill them. It's sort of a catch and release program.

right-o

1 - Shouldn't be a problem, but there may be some very short posts now and again.

2 - Thought combat went fine. I'm always one for flexibility, but no complaints.

3 - Always, and wheat.

.

1. yeah that works.

2. Nope, things went perfectly fine and i'm ok with full use of rules.

3. next game should just be goat simulator.

Yes. Presuming I don't try to write any more choose your own adventure novels.

2) Did you think I was too tough on the rules in combat?
I think Rule 0 trumps everything, but I would actually prefer things to follow Rules As Intended. IMO you performed masterfully.

3) Did that combat need more goats?
I think the next combat should incorporate other animals such as Giraffes or maybe Wombats.

The pincushion never forgets. Be warned.

Rejoice, Nimu, for Mal has declared that Sehanine may or may not, in fact, have been useful!

Seriously though. Cool posts everyone.

I know Nimu has something in the works, but it would be nice if you guys could maybe...do something? Currently I have nothing to update as you're all just standing around talking. Know what I mean?

Jozan has informed me of pressing circumstances that may limit his ability to post in the immediate future. Hoping his situation improves but should be unable to post I will be NPCing him briefly.

I think we're all kind of waiting on the intel from thug #67. In this case Mr. DM, a short post on your behalf may get us all moving.

kjpl;asdf

The conversation between Sehanine and Bandit2 should be up shortly from Nimu, I will update once the group reacts to that/makes some sort of action.

Also I'm not complaining, but this is the first time in I think years where a combat encounter has finished and the first reaction of every single player isn't "I LOOT EVERYTHING"

Haha.

It's crossed my mind. It felt like the bandit leader had some mojo. I figured it could wait until my second post.
