Despite raking leaves, going shopping, even having a root canal...baby insists on staying put

Seriously... every time my wife was "ready" we'd either go for a seriously long walk (fast paced), or we'd find the bumpiest road we could (not hard here in Utah) and drive along it until she was calling out for mercy. Baby was born that night, every time.

We did the bumpy road thing (potholes, anyone?) with the first two. Personal relations, you name it.

They were both born more than a week late, anyway.

Met a girlfriend for lunch yesterday and she told everyone in the restaurant that she was going to make me eat spicy food, walk the entire show floor (Toronto's original IKEA, which is HUGE), then hit every pothole on the way home....still no baby and today's rain is supposed to turn into our first snowfall tomorrow.

Maybe I should have beets for lunch....

Plus if I am stunned what or can I even post. I saw Van's post (Could make a funny referance to her being pregnant but won't) and it was ok but honestly at the moment I am at a loss of what to write.

SAUP is a game state where you are not unconscious but are literally reeling from the attack. You can not fight, you can not parry - you are essentially defenseless but you can post thoughts, fears, doubts or whatever might be going through Max's mind right now.

Max can get up and move around - you can even try to do a potion if you'd like, but you can not fight at all until you get yourself righted.

Having my character completely helpless may have been an overstatement of Dapple's condition of "stunned and unable to parry" but there has been (unfortunately) alot on the Canadian news about the effects of Tasers, and it seemed a good analogy for what happened with the lightning bolt.

Plus, she's so darned ornery, complete physical incapacitation would pretty much be the only way she wouldn't be able to fight

I am hoping to get back into the game soon. Weekend was full of snow and shovelling so I lost some time, but managed to clean the basement which was weighing heavily on my mind.

Anyway, hope to update all my games by the end of the week. Would like to ss a post from the few that are behind but I will move the battle forward anyway as you are close to the end.
