Olan, could you abduct Eol's profile and write a post for him? The DM would never have to know...

Roger, let me know if I need to change anything in my post.

Open to suggestion

If someone wants to volunteer to play Spooky for Robert, I am more than willing to listen.

As a last resort...

I'll take that on. Robert does a fantastic job with him, and I know that when I was swamped (more so than I am) I felt terrible about the games I was holding up, but desperately looked forward to returning to them. So, rather than kill him off, I'll try to fit another character into my posts to keep him going until Robert returns.

Playing Spooky

Ordinarily, I'd offer to "ghost" a player until they were able to resume playing, but Jal's just a little too unique for me. I don't think I could get a handle on the character.

BTW, we need posts from Admiral and Raven, gentlemen!

Offer still stands.

I think Jal would be a challenge for anyone to play, but he's a fun enough character that I'd give it a shot to reserve Spooky until Eol's life settled some.

Spooky will be posting today...

... though, like I told Al, I almost hate to ruin that beautiful death scene that was waiting in the wings... crushed by a tower, what a spectacular end.

As it stands, though, Maximus has hauled Spooky's pale arse out of harms way and, in the process, interrupted Wynter's voice... and hey, there's a girl up there just bathed in that oddly powerful green glow that I remember from the briefing at Dwan's... hmmmmm.....

Thanks for waiting me out, folks. I hope this post helps to make up.

backwards accounting

I need to go back through all the posts to find out where the spellcasters stand on mana. We may have some dead batteries on the blasters in the party.

hrmph

At least their batteries are all that's dead. single combat with mister "Green-arm the Invincible" isn't turning out so good.

Where's that freakin' bunny when ya really need him, anyway?

I'm pretty sure that Jal's running on empty or very close to it... He had something like 13 or 14 mana points left before we so much as got past the first little "Spooky naps out in combat" run-in with the greens and he's been slinging pretty willy-nilly since then...

If he survives the adventure, Jal may just squirrel himself away in a tower somewhere and try to come up with some kind of Red Bull like concoction for mana-mashers. If it works, the little bugger could make a mint.

Mana in a can

Red Wiz - gets you through the dungeon.

Olan - try hitting him some more. So far, your rolls have sucked. Actually that is my rolls but they have sucked.

I thought every knight dreams of the one on one combat with the big bad guy? I can change that if you want. I'll take a page from Lucas and send in the Clones.

You are two distractions and one final battle away from ending this campaign.

Mana

I thought I've been pretty good rationing mana until it's really needed. Adrian should be about 2/3 full.

LMAO @ Red Wiz

Is that an energy drink for mages or one of the symptoms of a kidney infection?

Guess it does sound better than Mana Dew, though.
