So:
West always leads to South in Room-Number +2, with the exception of Room 4.
North always leads West +1
East always leads to North +4
South always leads to East + 3, with the exception of Room 6.

I'm not sure yet what the exceptions mean. Any ideas? Why doesn't 6S lead to 9E or 4W to 6S?

the paoers in the other room were torn pagers from a spell book. You did go through them but they were all ruined. Lizard men have no book culture

A thought struck me. I hope my fears are not justifiable... nor that I gave our DM a means of keeping us here forever!

Umm that would be a lousy ending to an adventure story.

But it is a perfectly rational thought that could be a motivating factor to find out what is going on.
