nice

Good job, Dox!

You know, I wondered if I was full 'o crap when I mentioned badges. Biosignatures makes so much more sense.

Slug throwers

They don't but it wouldn't be outside the realm of possibility that you could replicate an older weapon, most of the security staff have the clearance to do that. It would be going against starfleet regs though and I don't think it's necessary, if one of these ambassadors is taking down trained starfleet security personel we have a bigger problem on our hands than a couple stolen phasers.

exactly

If an Ambassador disarms a security crewman, the stolen tech is not the issue. How's he going to get it off of the ship? It's not like he can step out of the airlock.

Out the airlock, I don't like you.

I can't guarantee he won't walk out an airlock if he assaults one of my security officers.

Well, technically, that would resolve the issue...

He won't be walking.

I'll throw him out.

Good Stuff...........

So glad I posted thoughts last night. It was getting too late to research stuff like the older weapons so it was an idea. Was too tired to really check the stuff and see they would still be available. I would have checked before posting.

Security and Engineering can get very "stuff" oriented quickly.

I was thinking about the force fields too, they can be controlled from Security.

The restricted access was for only the Security section of deck 5, the rest would be available.

I'll get something up tomorrow, so tired from trip.

Brenn, do you want to edit your post to add orders from Berk?

Almost to Oz

Well, given that we just got missed by a tornado by less than a mile, suffice to say I am now not quite in the right frame of mind to post tonight. More to come soon.

Go hug someone immediately. Surreal doesn't begin to cover it. Thought I was going to lose my family tonight.

End emotional outburst. Carry on. Love to you all.

holy heck

Eeep yeah that sounds crazy Dunkel! Seriously happy you and yours are safe. Just stay on the lookout/weather scans.

Weather is so drunk this year.

Thanks Yana

We're all good; clear skies for several days behind the mess, and it has gone on through. Very thankful.

On a side note...

...I may or may not be on during the day tomorrow. The path of the damage described apparently goes right through where I work. So I may have a Tornado Day. Good thoughts and vibes for my coworkers appreciated.

wow

So glad you are okay, man. One of my brewing buddies in Texas has tornadoes in his hometown from the same system... and then, they came to visit us in Alabama.

They didn't come close to us, but man, I'm glad that you and yours are okay. We had the F5 that destroyed Pleasant Grove hop over us and land about a mile and a half away a few years back... I'll never forget that.

Thanks again

Appreciate that, Olan. If it did indeed hit my shop, I will be going to help with cleanup tomorrow. Having done that before, I know I will be exhausted. So I shall return when I can. Yana and I have a collab in progress, and I still need to hear from Dox to start building our meeting as well. Also planning some sort of RP with Astrid soon.

s'alright

We're playing a game, here - that's real life, and life or death stuff. I don't think anyone will begrudge you some away time.

Heck, all we are doing right now is fluffing things up, anyway; it's not like we can't backpost.

Reid's orders

I don't think we need to change them, Berk trusts Reid to put together a plan and they can make changes collaboratively, this is sort of Berk's chance to see how Reid works and for Berk some general house keeping done as well as meet his team and the like. Berk has some ideas (arming engineering crews, containment fields and the like) that he wants to bounce of Reid as well.
