I was SO disappointed that it just dropped suddenly without any explanation.

...was even more fantastic than what Facebook made it out to be! Nothing I love better than disappearing into the Adirondacks and canoeing like a fiend... except when I get an entire week alone with my wife to do so!

Okay, as to posting... when I last left Tochi, he had escorted Mr McTavish to meet the Captain. Kind of leaves me in a lurch as to something to post until Olan bumps that encounter with a post for Drake. I've got a couple of options, I suppose... 1) I can internalize and have Tochi make (rather suspicious) observations regarding McTavish's nervous demeanor, 2) I could "whoosh forward" and relegate any further interaction between Tochi, Drake, and McTavish to "backpost status", or, 3) I could pay a visit to the other Flight Control folks and whip up something for Megan, Vaela, Kook, and/or any combination thereof.

Any suggestions/preferences from the peanut gallery?

Spent some minutes yesterday rereading the last few pages and figured I could probably come up with something to keep the bit between Tochi, Haemis, and Silas rolling without stepping on too many toes, so to speak. I'll get to work on that and, hopefully, have a post tacked up soon... and possibly another, too, as I gave some thought to what the FCOs might be doing.

What if....... Brom takes and NPCs the Captain?
He could contact Olan and get the story basics and we can move forward. Brom has GM'd a Star Trek game before.

Just a thought.

...but, I'm fairly sure that Olan is returning pretty quickly (as are Yanamari and Amara, I understand). I've got enough detail as to plot points and such, at the moment, that I feel comfortable in putting a few words in the good Captain's mouth, myself, but don't want to bump things too much lest I overstep where "the man" wants us to be.

I'm close to halfway through putting a post together, I believe, and should have it out there before long.

Also, as I haven't said so, yet (despite thinking it more than once); Welcome aboard, Brom! Very glad that you decided to join us! *happy dance*

As mentioned, I took some liberties with Drake in that post (hopefully not too many) in order to give Olan a tiny beat of breathing room to get his return under him. If I overstepped, at all, I'll happily edit.

Seeing how the ship is still docked at SB18, my character may be coming aboard through conventional (if somewhat suspicious) means. Perhaps I'll write up a SB18 intro...
