Party on, Asovil!

Nice intro post for the character, Brom! (As if I expected anything else.) And, if I may say, not at all what I was expecting in regards to character choice for you... I'll be very interested in watching this one develop....

That said... I think I can play off of that post quite nicely and, perhaps, have another of my own tacked on a bit later tonight.

Why, thank you!

I figured I'd veer away from my usual preferences for characters seeing how I am picking up the role of a science officer (also not my usual choice). I hope she entertains sufficiently.

I, too, will have another post up shortly working with that silverscreen woosh concept.

And, now, a brief note about that last post...

It was originally intended as a Tochi post but, as I wrote, it turned more to something from Lt Moriden's POV, obviously. The "gist" of the whole thing, of course, is that, given current events including the rapid fire succession of personnel transfers, Tochi has had just about enough of the suspicious goings on... as Drake is currently "dealing with" McTavish and Peregrine's departure time is rapidly approaching, our dedicated Trill XO has seen fit to take the initiative where command goes and has opted to lock down the ship (following Asovil's boarding - assuming she makes it in the allotted two minutes... which, I'm sure she will) in these last few moments before we ship out. Soooooo.... assuming that none of Tochi's orders are belayed by the Captain (or worse yet, Starfleet Command) expect that, as of 1237 hours, Peregrine's hatches and transporters will be secured and off-cycling from the base's umbilicals will accelerate... Could be a little RP fodder there for those who wish to latch on to it.

Just thoughts...

...regarding the RP fodder, I mentioned previously. I imagine that when the Peregrine locks down, per Tochi's orders, it might cue certain other protocols... Something of an "all hands to stations" alert perhaps... nothing quite so extreme as a full on Yellow Alert, though...

So, anyway, if Tactical/Security wanted to run with that for the purpose of "fluffing it up," it'd give Berk something to do and, possibly, wake up Reid (we can hear that snoring all through the ship, cowboy). Engineering folk, of course, can be tending to the damage caused by Thorson and performing pre-flight checks, etc. Medical likely has their hands full with Thorson, himself, and, if he hasn't already been transferred to SB 118, this lock down will likely induce a mad scramble... OPS is likely flipping their lids with the transfers and such, already (who knows, they might even appreciate the "we're done" notice).

Y'know? You folks probably already know all of this and I'm writing this for no good reason... but, hey... I'm bored and twitchy and over caffeinated and I wanna see posts...

all right...

I'm back. I will expand on this more in the near future, but I let some RL issues get to me and get me down, and I flaked out on you awesome people. I am very sorry for doing so, and am so glad that there are so many great players wanting to continue with this game.

Let me get fully caught up, and I'll post, as well.

W00T, indeed!

Both for Olan's return and for Asovil's arrival!

I'll get something in the works, soon.

Edit: Just read Asovil's bio!

Haemis - if you'd like to add Lt McTavish's roster entry, please, feel free... or, if you'd prefer, send it my way and I'll more than happily tack it on for you.

It lives

Huzzah! Glad to have the band back together. I'm out of town for the weekend but I'll be back on Monday with a post, it's just tough to compose anything of any length on my phone.

Ahem...

It's not the length of the thing, it's how you use it.

Sorry. I couldn't resist (That's what she said).

If I didn't know better, I'd say Brom might have had a couple!

Here comes a Tochi post!

I get you...

I've been telling myself to get organized, give it time... and I'm not listening. I keep checking the thread, and I keep getting more excited.
