Hammer

There are two very large concerns I have regarding your post.

First of all, you cannot throw a melee weapon that does not have a range increment. As such, if I were to update your message as it is, the greatsword plunks to the ground not 10ft from you. Also, if you look at the part where Ken does plunk his greatsword into the ground, he claps Manalagna on the shoulder, indicating that he is actually right next to him at that point in time.

Secondly, Xira is 100ft away from your current position; only a longbow has the range to hit her at this time from your location, so even if the greatsword could be thrown, the increment penalties along with your inproficiency almost make it assured that it would not hit Xira under normal circumstances.

I'll suggest you revise your post...

In the Information Thread

I've added the locations (plotline wise) of people, so if you're at a checkpoint (i.e. as Shades331 is now) then you can sit back and relax; that's it for this evening.

Just one question

I'm not 100% sure about one thing.

When an ability that's triggered lasts 1 round, does that ability end at the beginning of MY next turn or the beginning of the next ROUND?

I only ask because I used a Ghost Strike ability to attack while being ethereal. Though I guess you could rule that I used my next action to become tangible again and stop him from moving forward, thus allowing him actions against me in his next turn.

Not too worried about it now, but from my PoV, the whole point of the Ghost Strike Ability would be to attack and move away or at least still be ethereal during at least one round and negating at least one set of attacks.

I believe

If I remember correctly, that effects lasting 1 round last until the start of the effects originator's turn.

Say "B" casts 1 round effect and initiative order is

A - B - C

A Does whatever
B Starts effect
C acts
A acts again
B's effect ends.

Oh

Oops, I made one big mistake then... I assumed that the effect ended when you attacked, which on the whole doesn't make much sense...

I'll go fix that right now!

EDIT: There, I fixed it, taking into account the miss factor (which makes him miss both times).

Heh

Shouldn't be a miss factor anymore. That would be if I were invisible. Unless he can see me and has a Ghost Touch spell, ability or weapon, he can't hit ethereal creatures. Which is what I become now. Like a ghost. Oooooooh

Well...

The hunter's sword is still magical, so it has the chance to hit because of that I believe

I serve the sole purpose of cross-checking

Magic Weapons have 50% chance of hitting ethereal creatures. Still has to be able to see him though, as ethereal has the added benefit of invisibility.

Hit ...

..... an Uncharacteristically Busy Week these past few days!

Probably will have to catch up on Saturday night and Sunday if I am unable to post tonight, but next week is much clearer for time!

My Apologies for Any Delays!

That's alright

I know that people do have things they also have to attend to in RL, and given the pace, it isn't that bad.

Although... I'd like to bring attention to the fact that a couple of characters are now waiting on the others, so I'd like to bring everyone to Twilight soon.

For the most part, everyone's in an encounter at the moment, and there's only the resolution of that encounter needed before I can fast-forward to Twilight, so hopefully the others won't be waiting that long, and the depth of gameplay will remain consistent ^_^

Of course, that doesn't mean you have to rush; just keep a consistent rate if possible of posting, so the others can at least see that the campaign is indeed moving

First Stike has ...

..... been posted after several days of delays!

I am a bit new to this Spell Casting stuff so please bear with me ... especially if there is something I am leaving out ... or am unaware of that I am supposed to do when Casting Spells!

Hopefully I will be able to get this Sand Dance up to date with the others so we can advance the party!

Thank You for Your Patience EveryOne!
