Ta-da!!!

One interaction between the XO and CSO posted!

As mentioned in said post, Tochi is off to grab a bite to eat and, then, perhaps, heading to the gym or holosuite for some fencing (in order to vent some frustration). Not sure if Asovil will be joining him for dinner or not but, regardless, that's where he is headed. Feel free to encounter him there or along the way if you like. Always up for some back and forth with ANY of our crew.

~Raises hand~

A question. I notice that the timestamp has moved forward a few hours past then the ship would have departed. Is it ok to post ahead when the Captain (GM) hasn't moved the game forward? See this is what confuses me I guess. I am not sure of the procedures here and I am afraid of doing something that I may have to retract. I mean if I post something at say 1800 but then the ship is attacked, I hope not , at 1630, then my post will have to be withdrawn since other circumstances will intercede.

Signed Sincerely,

Confused!

Dear Confused,

It was stated somewhere (in one of Olan's posts, I think) that his plan was to whoosh us forward in one of his next posts as he imagined that the first few hours out of SB 118 would be relatively uneventful where the main plot was concerned. To that end, I'd say that we're all good to post anywhere up to 1600-1630ish. I don't know that I'd go too far beyond that, unless he says otherwise, that is.

Warmest regards,
Ann Landers

Question.............

Are personnel allowed to use communication channels for personal calls like using "Facetime"? Or does that have to be like email? Can there real time messaging?

I would assume they are not private or secure.

Yep...

...subspace communication is typically available to starship personnel for contact/communication with friends, family, etc.

I would also imagine that aboard a Starfleet vessel most of those communications are inherently "secure" to some degree. Personal communications are likely not encrypted as official "priority" messages .

Ok

Ok. I get it I think.

Now where did that Ody guy disappear to? Need someone to RP with. Or maybe pop into dinner with the XO?

Good by me

I expect he'll be there around 1600 or so.

Suuuure... tempt me with a redhead! LOL

Point of clarification, though... Tochi's having dinner in the Observation Lounge as opposed to the mess hall.

I'll get something written up soon.

Thanks, Rob!

I appreciate you taking the time to compile that, clean it up, and then post it. And thank you to Olan for finding the transcript that I thought was lost to the Void.

Asovil isn't stupid. When a superior officer invites you to dinner, you go. So, she'll be there, postponing her final meeting until the next morning. I'll post as much later as I'm a bit engaged right now.

My pleasure!

Thank you for suggesting the chat. Not my usual venue to be honest, but I enjoyed it quite a bit.

As Asovil will be joining Tochi, I'll hold off on posting until you've put your's up.

BACK!

MWAHAHAHAHAHA gods I'm so tired, but I'm back.

Dio has Beta Command, I don't think any other PC's share a bridge shift with him on Mondays (going off the Crew Compliment and Roster on Pg 1 of Q&A) but I'll be posting about the goings-ons of the rest of the Operations NPC's a little later.
