this and that

Ody - I made that deduction from your previous comment that they were o level priest spells. I do not use them nor do I use cantrips.

Hammer - a standard quarterstaff ranges between 6 to 9 feet in length depending on culture, the source of wood and how it is "quartered". That being said, I would think that a Khord would want a staff around 5 feet in length, steel shod on both ends and made from the hardest wood possible.

Everyone - Do you want the characters posted? I don;t tend to for D&D but sometimes people want to be able to check online.

I am indifferent about the character sheets being posted up.

Looks cool

I'll be away on vacation Nov 5 - Nov 12. I'm not sure if the cottage will have wi-fi. Otherwise, I'll be around until just before Christmas. And then back again in January.

At one update per week, do you have a rough idea how long in RL this adventure will take to complete. About a year or so? 3 - 5 major encounters with roughly 6 or so updates per encounter, plus the updates to move the story to the encounters.

I ask this only so that we have a good sense of the game commitment. I know I can be flaky, but I really would love to be part of a game that actually completes a whole adventure.

Looking forward to this!

Good golly

I have no idea what to tell you about time commitment. It could play for awhile or fast as it is an 18 room module with no need to hit each room.

I certainly can bring out more adventures afterwards if so desired. I am not looking for long lengthy posts - no more than you would say at a table top game - unless you want to and can handle the time constraint.

Hey! Thanks!

Thanks for that, Al! Like I said, I'm looking forward to this. I do wish I had thought ahead, though, and put "Ginger and MaryAnn" as one of my three random things on the beach. That would have been a real treasure.

I vote

Since my item hasn't been chosen yet, I would like to change one of my choices to Mary Ann.

too late

I just rolled and you got the Quarterstaff. I think Olan's dice roller favours the middle.
