For the record:

1)Took me a minute to come up with a suitably embarrassing story but I settled on that one after recalling a very similar thing happening to me. I wasn't wooing an Andorian woman on Risa, nor was I singing and playing the mandolin, but I was goofing around on a canoe trip and, as in Dirven's tale, slipped out of a tree over the river and lost my shorts.

2) Talla was Ensign P'Tammah's grandmother.

Crane will likely not accept visitors due to the trouble she's in. Asovil has drummed into her head the potential for danger should others in the crew find out. She will not be prone to admit anyone except Asovil or any of the senior staff. Anyone who swings by will be met with no answer as she'll screen visitors by asking the computer who is there.

Asovil hasn't informed the Captain yet, because she's not yet encountered him in a formal setting that allows her time to address the situation. She's planning on doing so first thing during her official briefing. She has mentioned Crane to Tochi, and when the Captain sat at their table, she considered bringing it up. But with Crane confined to her quarters and the Captain preparing for the reception, the Andorian woman feels that it can wait.

I figured as much, Cook was thinking of just stopping by to make sure she was alright. I didn't think she would tell what she did. Not knowing why she is confined she is just worried about her.

At least a demotion. Sort of a Captain's mass situation I guess. I wouldn't think it is a court marshal or even transfer. It could be handled properly without a lot of fall out for Crane.

Of course, all of that is up to the Captain.

Cook would be disappointed in Crane if she knew the circumstances, but I think most people that knew her would probably get over it. Whether Crane did is another story.

We will see. An interesting scenario to say the least.
