WHAT?

My whole week was just ruined. I mean, because Eol is gone, not because of the post from Olan. That will remake my week.

It's only for a couple of days.

I'll miss you all, too!

Like I said, I doubt I'll totally disappear but, as spotty as internet access can be up in the North Country, not sure I'll have too much opportunity to post.

On the plus side, I'll get that much more time to think and have posts backlogged in the brain-pan when I do get to log in, again.

Don't cry for me, Argentina...

Well, we appear to have slowed down again. Going to have to see what I can come up with to keep things rolling.

I was thinking the same thing...

...probably should get something written up with Tochi contacting Cmdr Farr, at least.

Ens P'Tammah's got the helm and Lt Zai has the Bridge on Beta shift... Hmmmm... all kinds of things I could do. Where to begin?

Are you referring to back-posting?

Aren't we barely into Alpha?

yep

If we go by the "current" game time of the 0800 hour, we're just into Alpha.

Not that there would be anything wrong with handling one of the past shifts...

Umm...

...just "thinking out loud," really. Figuring out what Tochi's day looks like as far as duty shifts and whatnot...

I do that.

I think aloud often enough, myself. That's how I was banned from the public bus system.

By the way, TAG OLAN!

Peregrine; one to beam aboard...

Sooooo I'm back! Nice loooong weekend spent traveling the North Country with the wife (it was a "surprise" birthday trip, for her)... She's never seen the Adirondacks in the fall when the leaves are changing. We spent a day and night in Alexandria Bay, right across the St Lawrence river from Boldt Castle (the "off season" in Alex Bay is phenomenal, by the way... some of the shops are closed and whatnot but the crowds are practically non-existent). The next day we drove in to Hermon (where the "family cabin" is) and visited our newest "pseudo-grandbaby" for a few hours - Adah Jean; she's a tiny little thing and sooooo gorgeous - then rolled on into Adirondack park for the remainder of the day. Saranac Lake, Blue Mountain, Lake Placid, etc... and then drove over into Vermont for the night, watched the full moon dance on Lake Champlain, took a leisurely cruise through Burlington, etc, then bunked down for the night somewhere around Queensbury. Drove around the southern part of the park and then took a circuitous route home... Such beautiful country and, even better, I got to spend those days alone with my wife, uninterrupted!

Anyhoo... Reading up on what I might have missed and will get some posts of my own going very soon.

Sounds like an amazing trip, Eol.

I'm glad you were able to do that and that you were safe!

Olan, love the post. I'll try to get something up in response today.

I've posted.

Haemis, there's more opportunity to continue the reception conversation (Eol and others who are there as well) if you so desire.

It was fantastic!

Nice bout of posts. Had hoped to have one of my own completed, today, but ended up with a water heater crisis that snatched away my time and attention. If I don't manage a reply tonight, I'll have one ready tomorrow.
