As Doc See's it........

It's getting hard to post with nothing to build on other than Al's story guide. I'm going to make some assumptions so I can start a next post.

1. Doc and Corbin drug the body and put it while Brutal waits behind the wheel. The dead Major is in middle of the back seat with Doc crammed in next to him to appear as tending care. This makes it harder to see the Major's condition from outside.

2. The Capt and Corbin also get in the back. One of them is holding a pistol on Doc for show. Their bodies help block seeing Doc clearly, the Red Cross pouch is in clear view.

3. The Sargent in riding shotgun by the door with our lovely lady in the middle, a rose between two thorns, also a good distraction. Sarg has the Major's papers.

I'm planning a back post from Doc's POV getting here. It would be good to also know what was in the briefcase, but Doc can't read German. It seemed like a long enough ride for Sarg and lady-fair to go through them before we got to the "Check Point".

I hope to have a post later tonight, I'll keep checking to see if anyone else posts.

yes

Well, since Luke doesn't speak any German, and we agreed that the people who do would do some talking when we met the first guard post, there isn't much to write until somebody does say something.

I suppose I could post a 'huh? Whadotheysay' thingy...

Here's an idea... What'cha think?

Just had a thought, this could the place to get another uniform.

How are your commando skills guys?

Movie Scene:
Something like, the lady starts shouting something about needing a doctor, shoves sarg out rushes toward the sentries waving her papers and carrying on about the stupid showoffs, and now the Major is hurt. "Let us though, he's dying, quick we have to get to the Castle. Stupid male show offs, we need a Doctor quick!". The sentries start to drop there guard to help the lady.

The sarg composes himself looking a bit sheepish, pulls out some papers, but has his knife at the ready. Brutal gets out and reaching in his coat as if for papers but goes for his combat knife, Corbin does the same.

The sentries move forward to see what's going on. As the main one leans into the car, the Captain take him out (your choice of style), them the rest burst into action, each on one the sentry next to them. The lady may show a bit combat skill at this point.

If this works then we put together a uniform for Doc, dump the bodies and head to the Castle.

If it doesn't work, taps play softly in the background.

Ok lead post is up

Ok my post is up hope it works (Fingers crossed )

As for your idea's Ody they are good but that would have meant waiting on Van to agree and she already stated why her leading was a bad idea. So not blowing off your idea's justy getting things rolling once more.

Also Alacrity is Eol replacing Dreen or you looking for a new person??

The Role of McGuiness will be taken on by Nomad D2. I have to brief him in first.

Happy to be joining the fray

I have never played a game of this nature, but reading the thread so far it looks interesting. Expect the private to act like a private for awhile (deference to his senior officers) while I get the feel of things. I think honoring superior officers fits his background anyway. Probably.

Welcome welcome

Cool it will be nice to have a voice once more for our Sniper Private .

A mouthy private?

Sure I read the posts. A mysteriously broken firing pin is not the same thing as talking back to a higher ranking officer. Generally letting those officers guide the action while you get a feel for mess you have gotten yourself into is not the same as letting them make dumb decisions that could get you killed.

We'll see how it plays out . . .

I will try to send you a brief write up on how the cortex rules plays but I believe there is a bit of an explanation in the starting pages of the recruitment thread for the game which is linked to the game thread.

Welcome Nomad..............

I had a good it time writing with you in Crimson Crusaders, too bad the game is fizzling. This game is easy, Al really guides things nicely and interplay story has been fun. Ye Olde has cornered the "bad ass" market, but your character can really take any direction you want. So just jump in and see where it goes.

Just thought, you might try some back posts to flesh out your guy, get some story time or not.

Welcome !!!!

Nomad, nice post........

Once again welcome to the game and nice post. I think your additional view will help pull this story along. Back posts are the easiest for me because I can pull so much out of the other posts. Now if you want to get out of that tree and into the car we can get this show on the road, lol.

Backpost was easy

Well, the backpost was easy. Mix a little honorable son in with sniper mentality and there you go. I'll get something up for the current situation soon. I was hoping to wait for another post or two to have something to play off of as I ease into the game.

And thanks for the welcome everyone.

Odyson - it does stink that it looks like the Crusader game is dead. Hopefully Nazi's can take the place of orcs. Kind of similar anyway, arent't they?
