Sheesh.............

Oh, ahhh, no it looks REALLY GOOD.

Nothing at all like a dragon wearing a Fez.

Yeah, excellent cartography; no one would ever call it cartoongraphy.

In fact it so real that I think Ody is headed to outhouse right now!

The Voice of Reason.............

Oh, masterful DM forgive the joviality of the Furry Avatar, Ody has forgotten the sage advice of TIM!

Fools! For it is written: Lo, anger not thy DM, for thine character is squishy and subject to his righteous wrath!

Okay III

Been busy lately and not with work. I have some health issues I need to address, I am taking a college course that isn't a breeze for me like the others and Will's B-day and Xmas are coming.

So, I will be moving the game shortly but I expect in two, possible three posts (by me) I will be stopping until after the holidays. You are about to meet the "sixth" memeber of your party (the Femme fatale) and I hope to have you outside the gates of the castle at the stop point.

Once the holidays are over we will start again on weekly.

That's just Ody, wait until Doc sees her up close, lol.

Babblefish.com

, I wrote "your welcome" first and then realized I used the wrong "You're", changed it to You are welcome.

Then wrote that I should use the correct spelling in my translations.

Isn't babblefish.com wonderful!

Haha... very encouraging :P

Tann, you wrote:

Liebes, Fraulein, bleiben Sie ruhig, wir sind nicht ihre Feinde, aber auch nicht ihre freunde.
Aber auch nicht ihre freunde means: but we're no friends either. Hehe.

She's going to kill us....

I'll post today or tomorrow... gotta find the time!

Almerin

Yep I see that now was Mom's mistake, not mine, as she is the writer of my German translation post comments.

I can't read or write German I just speak it.

Huh........

, here's what babblefish thinks you said.

Love, Miss, stay calm, we are not their enemies but their friends.
I don't speak German either, but my maternal grandparents were Wolfgong and Kaster.

I like the peppering of language into the text, adds fun either way.

Might even make for some comic relief if our young lady would give Romo a confused look and then questioningly translate his incorrect German.

Van could start to have some fun with her so called Heroes.

I thought of three different reactions:

1. She thinks these might be Germans training as infiltrators. ("Oops I didn't know it was loaded. Is he all right?")

2. She realizes these are not Germans, and gets sarcastic about the language goof. Sort of thankful for being rescued but cautiously wondering what the hell are Americans doing this far into German territory.

3. Ignore the goof and we move on as if it was said correctly.

Of course there are lots of other scenarios and Van is a great writer so what ever she wants is whats best.

Soße? I guess this is the best translation for Gravy. Doesn't quite carry the same effect, lol.

So I guess Ody thinks Val's character is better than "Rindfleisch Soße". How romantic! No wonder French is the language of Love.

Brutal's position

Just to clarify.. reading others posts after mine seems to believe that Brutal entered the cabin.. he did not.. he stayed outside.. on the left side of the door.. using the doorjamb as a shield.. what little it is.. and his face is visible to the woman along with the shotgun below it aimed at her... the meaning to her should be clear even if she doesnt speak English.

He doesnt want to shoot her but if she doesnt stop doing what she is doing.. assume he will not hesitate to shoot her.

SOP?????

So what's the SOP here do all edit starting with Tann? If Romo enters first followed by Brutal then my post stands. If there is a change then I can edit or just delete it and start over.

relax

People post what they think they are doing and I will post what actually happens. Order is based on initiative rolls. For all you know, Greta has killed Brutal and the Sarge before they even spoke, and is now seducing the Doctor.

Unlikely though......
