Curiosity gets the best of me, you see.

Reralae, if your character is wearing form-fitting armor, and her daggers are half-moon-shaped (as you described), how does she hide them "within her sleeves"?

" ... Strength?   Stealth?   Dark Powers? "

Hearing this challenge from the two-legged behemoth in the doorway made Pao smile, but even he didn't know quite why. Maybe it was because of the mocking tone the man -- or whatever he was -- used to the request for entry.

His smile disappeared briefly when Ocyari, piped up with her own nearly-immediate "... I can do that ...", but returned just as quickly when he assumed that the group wouldn't dare let the youngster step into danger as quickly as she would like to.

For his own part, Pao kept silent. If asked, he would accept. If volunteered, he would accept. If neither he would stay quiet, nearby, and helpful ..

Like there are young people that only know music on CDs, not LPs or cassettes, there will e a whole new generation of gamers that only know D&D in 3e, 3e5, 4e, and newer ...

They will never have known the "old" gaming system(s).

I seem to be missing something. I don't understand, I think. You were looking for more -- what? -- creative classes or races? Class mixes?

I'm at a loss here ...

[Edit]
Then again, you may be talking about not being much to talk about, going by the basic classes as submitted ...

So I'm guessing a dwarven mounted archer wouldn't be out-of-place here? Strictly PHB except he's a Mountain Dwarf instead of Hill Dwarf.

Will send as soon as background and description are done (about an hour, eating dinner ...)

Subject: Follow the leader

Pao was following the rest of them. He had decided that until he and the rest of the group became "re-aquainted", he would not rock the boat any further by suggesting much of anything for a while. They had leads he wasn't aware of when he made his own suggestion, and it appeared that he had "stepped on someone's toes". Better at this point to play it safe and stay relatively quiet than alienate another in the group.

As they walked the streets, his darkvision served to show him what happened in the shadows that some humans wouldn't have seen. The "Heart of Darkness" was a forboding enough name, but when Pao noted the area of the city in which it was located, the name was suddenly apropos

Approaching the dim circle of light in front of the "Heart", he rested his hand near the bail-ring holding his mace by hooking his thumb into his belt, to be ready to snatch the weapon out out at a moments notice.

T_Catt, if you don't mind, I would like to offer my services to provide any information necessary for any characters in this game. I have a ton (or tonne, for you Europeans) of 2e material to draw from: character kits/variations, new spells, magic items, enhancements, etc.

Also, I would like to throw my hat into the ring for a spot in said game. or as a reserve if no spots are available ...

Topic: What's in an Adventure
Subject: Enter the Snack Dragon (?)

It is up to the adventurers to rid the town of Choco-Hollix of the presence of Candyfloss the Pink Snack Dragon. She has moved into, and taken over, the nearby rock candy caves, through which flows a ruver of caramel. The locals tried to run her out, but were forced to retreat by her army of Ginsu Orc Warriors.

Since the entire income of the city depends on the sweets from the caves, the local bakeries and candy shops have been trying to come up with replacement treats. But it seems that Salted Fish Tarts, Mud-Mustard Cookies and the like are becoming increasingly unpalatable. They need their souce of sweetness back! Can the players help them?

Senility begins when a person is trhust from a warm, humid, safe and comfortable room into the harsh reality of a cruel and uncaring world. It lessens to near-undetectability from teen-hood to middle-age, then recurs (with a vengeance) when the species gets older.
