I'm interested. I would definatly like to try this. Out of curiosity, what roles would their be? Is there a tank commander, gunner, and driver? And, is there any standard soldiers with them? I ,myself, am interested in manning a machine gun on the tank, if that is an option. Though I'd be more than happy to be something else.

I'm intrested. Fighters happen to be my prefered class, so I'd be more than pleased to try and play one in Trilogy War. Only thing is that I have never played second edition before. I have a handbook, but haven't got the chance to use it yet. Also, I am fairly new to forum based RPGs, so if you would rather wait for someone who knows how to roleplay better, I'd be fine. If I did get to play a fighter, I think I'd make my own. No offense to you or the player, but I find it easier to play a character I create.

I think I'll wait until after christmas to continue. Everyone seems to be away on holidays.

I editted the first post in order to show the injuries characters have sustained. I thought it would make it easier to see, and to update.

Merry christmas.

Is there an ability to distract? Because of there isn't, I'd rather not waste your time requesting it more than once. If there is a distracting ability I would like to know how it works.

Thanks in advance.

Istanius felt his anger brew as this skeleton taunted him. Why didn't he buy a mace? In hind site, that would have been a good idea. Istanius had decided though, that his sword would do just fine. And here he was: against a skeleton with his shield.

Istanius realized he needed to defeat this thing quickly, before it slaughtered all of them. Head seen it attack at both Malagaar and Canicus. Then, it had the gall to insult him. A member of the blades, and a follower of the order of the lion. This thing had to be put in it's place.

Istanius heard Canicus shout for him to disarm the skeleton. There was just one problem: Istanius' shield wasn't exactly a good weapon for that. He knew that if he could distract the skeleton, Malagaar and Canicus might have a better chance at it. " Your master must not be very good at necromancy. If he were, he would have never made you. Unless, of course, you were made out of waste." Istanius taunted the skeleton. He readied himself for the attacks that would come. He hopefully had made an opening for his teammates. He drew his sword, knowing he would need his shield for defence. All he had to do was distract.

(OOC, Istanius fight defensively if that is possible. If it is possible, he tries to divert the skeletons attention to himself. If Istanius can attack, He'll use his sword to allow him to have his shield for defence.)

Istanius sat back, prefering to defend Tyrvia over chsrge right in. He sat back investigating for a trap. It looked like it would be possible to ambush them from on the walls; however, no one seemed to. Istanius watched as Canicus severly hit the skeleton, but it didn't go down. In fact, it tried to skewer him and Malagaar. Luckily, they both weren't hurt, but Istanius had view of the shield. It was a lion, a member of his order. It saddened Istanius to see that a menber of his order was downed by such an enemy. Being Tyrvia seemed to be out of harms way, Istanius moved towards the skeleton. Hopefully, he could help Malagaar and Canicus deal with it before anyone was injured.

Who owned that shield before it was taken. Istanius found himself pondering. He cleared his mind. Not yet, he thought. I'll have plently of time later.

(OOC Istanius moves towards skeleton, and will try to hit it with his shield. He will try his best to investigate the shield, but he would rather defeat the skeleton. Istanius will withdraw if he is severly injured, or something tries to attack Tyrvia.)

Istanius watched as everyone began to walk up the stairs. No one replied to his question, so he would assume that they would follow Canicus, plan. Istanius bagan to walk up: he wasn't too overly pleased at being in the back, but he wasn't about to push his way to the front. He wanted to be able to stand toe to toe with the skeletan, and help protect his teamate: furthermore, his armour would help protect him from attacks. Istanius was hoping to show his teammates how effective he was.

The spec ops team froze for a moment as the lightning bolt crashed near TK. None of hem in all their years had ever seen a weapon like this, leading them to be unsure of exactly what to do.

It was sergeant Cam who reacted first. quickly, he dropped Fayt and moved behind the nearest cover. In this case, it was a tree wide enough to shield him rom the attack. Cam barked his orders to the team, hoping that he could finish the battle without sustaning any casualties. Cam looked out from behind the tree and managed to catch a glimpse of movement. He fired, reacting upon a skill drilled into him from training. Though the shot was a glancing blow, the scream indicated that the enemy was hurt badly. Cam decided that his next movement would left, as he wanted to flank the enemies.

Linopas moved quickly, trying to get out of the open. He vaulted over a low lying rock, and he crouched behind it to grant him cover. He looked over the rock, trying to see the hidden foe. Cams blaster shot showed him where that was. He took a shot quickly, hoping to blast his injured foe. A second glancing blow hit the Tapien soldier: he fell with a growl.

Tk moved up near Sergeant Cam, unsure of where any other enemies were, if there were any enemies at all. Tk moved behind another tree slightly behind and to the right of Cam He scanned around but was unable to see anything. "Think that's all, sir?" Tk asked Cam hesitantly. Tk leaned out carefully from behind another tree, which was behind and to the right of Cam.

"Take cover!" Sellikus shouted. Sellikus moved behind another tree, this one much larger than either TK's or Cams. Thinking he saw something, he fired at it. By blasting twice, he was sure that one of his blasts would. Hit. Unfortunately, he notice one shot go wide, and the other hit, but not faze the target.

All of the spec ops team except TK noticed another Tapien soldeir and a dark grey B1 battle droid move move quietly to behind cover. The B1 moved to where the first Tapien was hit. Stepping on him, the B1 didn't seem to care about him. 2 more lightning bolts flew form the trees. One of the electric blasts burned into Cam's tree, leaving Cam unharmed. Sellikus was the second target and was not as fortunate. Though he very nearly dodge it, the second blast caught him in the leg . A sharp pain went through his leg: although, Sellikus knew it wasn't a crippling hit. The B1 held it's fire until after its allies fired. He seemed to be trying to see who was the best target. It lined it's sights on Cam, seeming to believe that he was the most of a threat. It fired a standard blaster bolt from it's E-5,. When it fired it's shot, the shot flew strighttowards CAm. The blaster shot glanced off the tree before hitting Cam solidly in the chest. Cam, however, did not feel a thing; his armour protected him form the blast "blast it!" The droid hissed from behiind it's cover.

Fayt knew she wasn't going too be very usefull in this battle. Knowing her time would come, she moved over behind Linopas.

(OOC Sorry about the delay I had internet problems.)

After Tyrvia gave Istanius her quaterstaff, he attempted to practice with it. His attempt showed what he probably should have known in the first place: It was a two handed weapon. Istanius tried to lunge foward, only to have Tyrvia's quater staff bonce off the ground. After Istanius failed at weilding it for a moment, Canicus began his speech.

Istanius listend realizing how imperative it was to follow that plan. It made sense that he use his sheild, and let Malagaar use the quater staff. It was obvious that Malagaar could weild it more efficently than Istanius. And, after all, why would Istanius want to drop a major part of his protection? Istanius tossed The quaterstaff to Malagaar. He looked at Tyrvia," My apologies. I am not capable of weilding the quaterstaf and shield well."

Istanius strolled up to the lead of the group. "So members of the blades," Istanius said trying to sound formal, strong and quiet after a short strong speech, " what's the plan? And I think we should all tip in on getting some blunt weapons when we return." Istanius paused waiting for responses. I also think that we should move out pretty quickly. Every second we waste, another needless death of our army occurs doesn't it?"

Istanius waited quietly for Malagaar's return. Istanius simply didn't feel that there was any point of conversation at this moment. Right now, he was more concerened about how his horse would fair when he was gone

Istanius wasn't too suprised when Malagaar returned unharmed. He obviuosly did know how to sneak, an area which istanius was completely useless in. Malagaar's report brought bad news. Apperently, a skeletal warrior was the gaurdian up there. Istanius knew little of undead; he muched prefered fighting against living enemies.

Istanius definately wasn't pleased when he heard Canicus' information. Bladed weapons would be next to useless against it. He knew they needed a new plan of attack.

When Tyvria offered Istanius her quaterstaff he suggested, he accepted. Istanius didn't want to be totally useless. "Thank you, my friend," He replied thankfully. "I think it would be be for me to divert it's attention while you guys attack it from stealth. I'm sure I can take a couple hits."

Subject: Leadership debate

Istanius listened to Malagaar's rant. It was totally unnessesary. With no one exactly leaping at the chance to be leader, it made perfect sense for Tyrvia to try and step in. Though Istanius did have to agree with Tyrvia on this issue. Malagaar giong alone was too dangerous: it was a risk that the blades group shouldn't run. Even if Arimm followed Malagaar, at least they'd have a fighting chance.

As Malagaar turned to walk up the stairs, Istanius left his horse back, and moved over to Tyrvia. Istanius was greatly depressed that he had to leave his horse back here. However, Istanius knew that if trouble arose, it could run.

"Tyrvia,"Istanius began quietly," I think your plan was a good idea. We can't be splitting up all the time." Istanius knew that they would all need to discuss this leader problem.

(OOC Istanius will wait until he is ordered to, or combat starts to move up the stairs)

"I suggest you tie that horse up nearby, lest we have to contend with it for space again." Malagaar said.
"I don't think so," Istanius growled," my horse comes anywhere I do. I will stay at the back however."
"I'll go ahead, quietly. Keep your distance, if I see anything that I need your help with, or if you hear fighting then come to me." Malagaar anounnced.
"As you wish," Istannius replied. He waited for what Malaggaar would find.
"5 Silver says he manages to get himself maimed again." Arimm joked coldly.
"I have my doubts he would," Istanius interjected, "I think he's smart enough to call for help if needed. In fact, he did give the general the correct strategy back at the hill. Besides, lets save it for the enemy." Istanius brought his horse to the back of the group, making room for their travels up the stairs.
(OOC Istanius wants to move to the back of the group to prevent a similar issue with his horse. It was definatly a hindrance last fight.")

Linopas and Tk both moved to the individual positions before the group moved out. Cam manages to carry Fayt as he walks. It slows him down a bit, but not as much as it would to Fayt over someground.

After a few minutes walk, Sergent Cam heard some sort of blaster noise. A moment later, Fayt and Linopas heard something too. As the group advances, the blasters became louder, and Sellikus and Tk began to hear it as well.

The first signs of battle was a downed Stormtrooper. His white armour was dirty, covered in mud, making it impossible to see what killed him. A few steps later, a Tapien soldier was also found. The spec ops team advanced, noticing more dead soldiers as the got closer to the battle.

As Cam was walking, he noticed a strange texture on the ground. It was partly buried in mud, but it seemed to be some sort of black powder. It certainly didn't seem to belong, looking somewhat artificial when compared to the ground.

While Tk was walking, a brilliant blue electrical blast rips through the air towards him. A sharp snapping sound alerted the whole spec ops team to it. The blast itself misses terribly, it crashes into the ground too far away from Tk to faze him.

Subject: Standing Back

After Istanius had realized the bad idea of tackleing the zombies, he dragged Malagaar back. Now that he had the tome to turn back to the fight, he was more the satisfied to see that Arimm and Canicus had successfully dealt with ine of the zombies, leaving only one left. As much as Istanius wanted to attack, there was quite a melee fight going on. Istanius moved to be ready to lunge in at any opening, though he highly doubted that any would open up. His comrades could handle this monster without him, as much as he wanted to defeat it. Being a blade wasn't all about glory, so Sitanius grudgingly stepped back and allowed his fellow blades to go.

(OOC Istanius readies himself to charge in if there is an opening which would not leave him vunerable to falling off the cliff)
