I can guess what you mean, but with me the tabs don't come down at all. It might be my pop up blocker, but I did disable it (though with this it might just be some thing windows 8 has. I still haven't got used to all the quirks of this computer.).

Subject: Searching...

October 31st 2008
Stifling a curse, David called out "Jade!" He struggled his way through the crowd. "Jade!" He called out again. Part of him was confident in her behaving well and being able to get home, but the over-protective 36 year old parent part wasn't. He grimly pushed through the crowd and continued working.

It had been a few minutes a searching when he heard a voice call. Lore dashed through the people and stopped short, was that… could it be.. “David!” She yelled over the excitement of people as she made her way to the man, “David, have you seen Amera?”

"No I haven't." David replied, though he knew full well what the terms of the court case were. "I am looking around for my daughter Jade. Have you seen her?" David hoped Lore had seen Jade, but he also knew that they had to find Amera...

Amera walked up to one of the stalls and knelt down next to the child, “Hey Jade, want some help?”

"Recognizing Amera as one of her fathers clients, and not quite remembering exactly what Amera did, Jade glanced up and smiled. "Yes please. These games are hard. I haven't won one."

Listening to the little girl Amera smiled and began to help the girl win something. Not knowing how frantic her sister had become.

Subject: Well...

I will sometimes listen to music while I write, but I write just as well without. When I do listen to music while I write, I often use the Star Wars soundtrack (especially when I write/ work on Star Wars stuff) or faster paced songs. The only thing I have to watch out for is sometimes the music affects my writing!

Subject: The lawyer arrives...

David enters the theme park along with his daughter Jade. She was certainly much more excited than he was about it though. After all, David had a lot of work he still had to do.

"Daddy!" She called out through the crowd. David pushed through the seemingly endless horde of costumed people. Why would anyone have a carnival that only could one once per year? David figured that they must have done other things throughout the year.

"Daddy, I'm going over to this game, ok?" David had given his daughter, Jade, some money for this.

"That's fine dear," David said, eying the costumed employees suspiciously. "Just remember, that's all the money you have for tonight."

"Yes Daddy," Jade sighed. She ran off again, and David strolled after her. He kept keeping an eye out for anything criminal; old habits died hard for David.

(OOC: So, David is a lawyer here with his daughter. He is dressed in a business suit, and isn't too overly pleased to be here. He is good looking, but he looks somewhat exasperated and annoyed.)

So, I'm thinking David's daughter is about twelve, if that is alright. She is somewhat drilled with professionalism by David, but she is adventurous.

Gyro is going for stabilization instead of healing damage. Gyro figures that they can at least make sure the trooper lives, and carry him away to heal later.

Gyro sighed as he opened up the medical kit. He was glad to have it because it was much better than just having a plain medpac. Gyro stated to anyone nearby," Okay, I am going to try and stabilize him. If he begins to thrash, I need you to stun him." Gyro paused, as he set up the medical equipment he was about to use around the operating table. "I am trained, but I am not the finest doctor, so no promises..." Gyro grimaced; he hated having to preform field aid. He always had the feeling that he would mess up. Glancing around the room one more time, he murmured," All right, let's begin"...

"I am qualified," Gyro stated, training immediately taking over. Following Batter with the clone, Gyro began to fumble with his utility belt. He pulled out his medpac, and walked to the medcenter. As Gyro set the injured trooper down, Gyro began to command. "Someone, see if there is a medkit. They are more effective then this medpac."

I was kind of wondering how long the troopers were together in a squad. Were we together all of training or just recently?

Gryo stepped out of the dorm and watched as his comrades crashed into one another. If it wasn't such a dire time, it would have been hilarious; however, this time Gyro only glanced over.

A faint voice can be heard through the closed doors, "open up! we have wounded! hurry before the clankers get us!!"

Laying on the floor, Batter was quite startled as to what was happening, one moment he was behind Hodges, the next Hodges was on top of him on the floor with Riggs. Just as he started to push himself up he heard the voice of a fellow clone. "Clankers!? Here!? Hurry up and open that door for them!" He practically yelled into Hodges and Riggs ears as he climbed up from the floor.

"Blasted droids!" Gyro cursed as we ran over to the door, forgetting he still had Batter's blaster. Sprinting over to the door, he screamed, "Troopers! Hold off for I second, I'm trying to get the door!" While standing next to the terminal, Gyro attempted to open it with any means necessary. He may not be as good as a mechanic as Rigg's, but Gyro was competent, and Gyro was the best one with computers. Now, he had to hope it was enough to save these troopers...

"As leader of our company, only you can give the orders... But the sooner we go, the better. If they need reinforcements, every second here, more of your men die. Sellikus looks around at the others, not sure how they themselves weren't dead yet...

Cam grimaced under his helmet. It was blunt, but Sellikus spoke the truth; they had to get going. "You two!" He said to the scout and stormtrooper, "You're with us for the time being. Unless anyone sees a different option, I think we should move along.

"Hey... who was that guy earlier- Durkin, Deer-kan, whatever it was?" Linopas took another glance around the area, cursing the drink from before. "Can't see anyone around the area, by the way..."

The scout trooper answered this question: "He's a mercenary commander, and now an Imperial target."

The stormtrooper nodded confirmation. "Yes sir, target number 824, code..." The scout trooper elbowed him to be silent.

"Well, unless there is something absolutely required to be done, we should get going." Cam ordered. " I'll take point for now."

Subject: Half open door...

Gyro arrived at the dormitory door, he noticed it was half open. He found that concerning because that meant the power was out... not that the emergency lights hadn't already shown that. Opening a channel on his hands free comlink, Gyro quietly said, "Ok, I'm at the dorms and I am going in. I am going to get Batter's rifle, my pistol, and Rigg's tool kit; anything else needed while I'm here? He waited a moment for a reply, then hesitated for a moment before entering the room. He steeled himself. You've done this before, he thought. Carefully and stealthily, at least in his own mind, he moved into the room; his weapon was drawn and ready...

"Guys!" Gyro panicked. "We need to get to Epsilon if possible." Gyro paused as he looked at his one pistol. "On second thought, let's get to the dorms and get weapons. I know I don't have any seniority over you, but I am going to see what is over there." With that, Gyro turned, with his weapon drawn, he began to move towards the dorms.

Gyro is highly nervous, and he knows that he can not use space to his advantage... I think he is fairly confident in his abilities, but that is overridden by fear of these enemies... All in all, Gyro thinks they need to escape.

As the music played, and the clones sat around the security room, a voice came over the buzzer. *Attention Security Room, this is Outpost Theta checking in. Everything seems to be normal, like always. Rotation switch in 3 hours... Wait, what's.................*

Being he was sitting near a console, Gyro decided he had to do something. "Troopers report!" He called into the intercom. " Troopers!" He radioed the other outposts, "Outposts Epsilon and Alpha, report! Do you know what happened to Theta?" Gyro drew his gun, expecting a fight.

"I guess I could go for some music; sure beats listening to each other breathing all day. What do you think is on, besides the anthem?" Riggs replied to Gyro?

"Actually, I don't think that they play that too much. Mostly they play requests... probably from the finest groups. So the 501st I guess..." Gyro turned his attention to the radio. "Ok so if I turn it on and..." The music station turned on, and began to play.

Out of the corner of his eye, Gyro noticed Hodges doing push ups. " Bored Hodges? Yeah, I guess this is horribly boring for us all. Meh. They can only leave us here for a couple weeks. If they didn't cycle troops out before then, we'd lose more to boredom then droids."

Ambling over to it, Gyro replaced his weapon's power pack. " And when we do get to the battlefield, we'll show them who is boss! If the droids have any sense, they'll run away from us!" To add affect, Gyro raised his right hand to his final statement.

Once again, Gyro got back to sitting down at his desk.

"Nice one Gyro, glad to see you aren't dropping it on your toes anymore." Batter said.

"Or the face for that matter. Just that one time though... even then, I'm glad I wear my armour most of the time." After a minute or two, Gyro finished his juggling. "So guys, anyone interested in the music station? We could always vote in a song." Gyro smirked for a moment; sarcastically, he said, "Being we are soooo important, they will have to play our song."

Cam continued his conversation. The only reinforcements asides from us is a couple klicks that way" Cam gestured back towards the way he came. "By the sounds of it, we don't have time to get to them, so we had all better get back to your Colonel then"

"Yes yes." The Tapien replied to Sellikus. He went right on to activate his comlink. "Hello? Captain? Yes... tell the commander that I have...HURK!" The Tapien soldier chokes as
Sellikus' shots burn into it's chest. Falling over, the Tapiens comlink clatters a shortway away.

A distinctly human, or a species with a similar voice, came over the comlink. "Soldier! Are you there? Talk to me..." The comlink was silenced as Sellikus put another round into the comlink. He glance up to see the rest of his group staring at him; furthermore, the scout trooper had drawn his pistol. "Next time warn us ok?" Sergeant Cam said. "Although yes, it is correct to execute prisoners if they are a threat to our mission." Hesitantly, the scout trooper holstered his gun. The spec ops group looked around hoping that no enemies had heard.

Subject: Gyro's ideas

As he had for many days before, Gyro quickly ran into the room for the start of his shift. It wasn't because he was the best soldier, no it was because he wanted to be at the terminal monitoring space. Space had always fascinated him. Many times when he was younger, he wondered why he couldn't be a pilot or marine. But he had grown to accept it. Being an infantry man wasn't so bad... sure, one got to run getting shot at by a huge army of droids, but that meant doing your part for the army.

Unfortunately for the rookies, they had been assigned to an outpost. Possibly the most boring thing to be assigned to... and Gyro didn't get to spend much time in space. Although, they were fortunate to get this outpost, at least in Gyro's mind: if he was lucky, he could sneak outside into space at least for a few moments. Multiple times, he had been caught by his sergeant and berated for doing that!

Today was one of those days that nothing was happening.
Gyro decided it might be a good idea to fill in the silence with a little conversation. "Ya know guys, this outpost leaves us a lot of spare time... perhaps we can become master chefs..." Gyro listened to silence in response," No? Ooh! How about we build a droid to do this job for us? How about that!" Another silence. "No? Geez guys... I'll never know what you want to do." Once again feeling the amount of boredom overtaking him, Gyro took the power pack out of his pistol, set it's safety, and attempted to juggle it.
