so, just a note, team members may notice 2 things from Sellikus.
(1) He has a constant air of passivness, as if he doesnt care about anything or anyone
(2) He has a blatent disrespect for anything that demands respect. He only works this job cuz the empire pays him well

if anyone wants that their character may have worked with Sellikus before, PM me for extra info that you would know.

"Yes, me speak good basic! Me like Empire. Empire great. Me being coerced!" It paused as the rest of the team approached, Fear evident in the coward's eyes. "You nice guys. You no hurt a prisoner, right? Empire nice." The Tapien fell in another coughing fit, and Sellikus had to hold it down again.

Smiling warmly, in a nice manner, Sellikus nodded. "Well, I am happy that you feel that way. And if you tell me all I want to know, I will even release you. We can have a nice talk, right?"
Sellikus smiled a bit more, he continued, "Now listen, my Tapien friend. You will tell me everything about that droid. You will tell me what resistance lies ahead of us, and where they are. And finally, you will tell us one additional bit of information relevent to our survival. If I am happy with your story, I will bandage your wounds, and I will release you."
The smile then drops from Sellikus' face.
"However... If I am not satisfyed...."
The Kiffar ended his threat by quickly sliding the tip of the blade up to the Tapien's crotch, barely cutting the pants cloth not half an inch from the poor beings personal area.

Sellikus then glances to Cam. "We will need bandages and antibiotics." He said quickly, and without the 'Sir' part.

Topic: Star Wars: The Imperial March
Subject: Annoyed and confused

Sellikus watched the droid disappear, staring with a mix of Annoyance and confusion. and cntinued to stare, considering the implications of this. He had never seen such a thing. And though he had seen few things compared to most citizens of the galaxy, not even having known the power of a blaster until a year previous, he always hated finding new things. they always made his life more difficult.

"Status report, Team!" Seargent Cam barked, stepping from cover.
"Did that droid just shoot his ally and run off? I thought droids can't act like that." TK asked, making Sellikus focus on the rest of the scene.
"Well," the sergeant replied while checking his rifle and power pack. "Looks like no one told the droid that." Looking over at TK, "I'd be more concerned about the tinnie's shield and heuristic processor than the fact that it shot its ally."

Turning to no one in particular, he said "Someone see if any of Taps are up for a little chat."

"On it." Sellikus called, Holstering one of his two pistols, Drawing his combat knife and Walking stoicly toward the nearest of the two wounded Tapiens......

(Actions:
(1)If Tapien is armed, attempt to blast it in the shoulder of arm with weapon.
(2)If unarmed, or non-hostile, kneel down, holster 2nd pistol, and remove all possible weapons from the enemy. He will then calmly ask if it speaks basic, slowly running the knife over it's inner thigh.)

Kara:

Apon entering your room, you immediately notice an envelope resting on your pillow, the seal unbroken, and sporting an eel. the wax itself holds a silver pigment. on the envelope, 'Kara' was written in curvy, elegant letters. Nothing else seemed to be disturbed, and even the lock itself seemed untouched.

TK and Morgrid:

The sound of glass shattering causes you to jump, and your eyes are drawn to a fist-sized stone crashing through the near-by window. Whomever threw it seemed to have kept walking, as there was no trace of anyone outside the window.
Apon inspecting the stone, it is obvious that a parchment is wrapped around it, and tied down with a bit of twine.

Pardoner Amastus:
As you begin to drift off to sleep, a feeling of tension rises in your gut. the feeling that you are not alone.
Opening your eyes, you see a small envelope right next to you, on the other pillow. It is propped up carefully, facing you. You find yourself staring at your name, beneath a silver seal.

Darian leaned in close to Arwyn. "Dreams always mean something.... What if this place isn't safe anymore? I mean, maybe I am jumping to conclusions.... But even Brine can't protect you if the Silver Paladins come through...." He muttered in a low voice. "We need to leave. Seek help. Find some way to keep you safe."

Darian met Kara with a look that showed his ever-present concern. He was a worrisome fellow when it came to Kara.
"I didn't." He replied simply when she inquired about his sleep. Walking parallel with her, he said nothing until they reached the tavern floor.

When she told him about the dreams, which had haunted her for the past several years, his concern doubled. Their race was attentive to signs like this, and he hardly dismissed it as irrelevent.
"What do you think it could mean?" He asked, though his voice hinted that he might have his own theory.
Readjusting his hat, he glanced around the tavern nervously....

ok, sorry, prolly didn't help. but short of pegging a rock off their head, different mind control, or mind affecting magics could do it. (But i dont think the skeleton has a brain)

Both ends of the rope now in hand once more, Arimm began his approach from behind, a noose in either hand. The Skeletal creature was still hacking away at the other Blades, and it appeared the ifrit had been struck.
Arimm was just glad he wasn't part of the forward assult...
Closing in as quietly as he could, sliding to within five feet of the undead warrior, he suddenly looped the first noose over the creature's head and around it's neck, giving a quick yank to tighten it.
Throwing in a kick to the back of the right knee, Arimm then sprinted the other way, hoping to first immobilize, then completely hang the fiend.
Sure, the noose wouldn't kill it. but it would make it hold still with the others beat it back to death....

(Actions: Sneak, loop noose over head of skeleton, called shot to back of right knee, run away while holding other end of rope.)

The suspicious guard eyed Morgrid with disgust. He was about to turn the orckin away when his silent companion stepped forward.
"All right, green blood, go inside... But visit the Garrison. If we are to let the likes of your kind in, then I am to assume you are willing to do something of a favor in return." He said calmly, though it was more a command than a question. Offering no further explanation, he stepped aside to allow Morgrid entry....

Traun quickly moved to follow his friend, eyes wide since he had heard what the note said.
Once outside, he walked close to TK, speaking in a low voice.
"I recognize the name..... But it might be some mistake.... TK, you want to avoid this guy. The word is, the Thief's guild is led by a man known as 'The Silver Rat'." He explained, obviously bothered.

(Still waiting for Arwyn's post, and both Wraclaw and Amastus are both sleeping the rest of the day away. I'll keep posting for Morgrid and TK until the day reaches night. But I am keeping you all on the same time schedule. lol)

Arimm crept around the hulking guardian, allowing his fellow blades to enter the fray first. His role was that of stealth and quickness.
He watched as the Skeletal figure swung first at Canicus, and then at Malagaar, missing both. Too Bad. Arimm had seen the strike aimed at the scout and, for a brief second, thought he might get lucky. But no. The ebony-skinned elf was still alive and fighting. Oh well. Maybe another time.

Looking around quickly, Arimm noticed that the pillars supported some flag poles, flying the banner of Alder, the diety of Justice. Ironic.
Smiling slightly, The assassin moved quickly around for a flanking position, tossing one end of the rope up, hoping to loop it around a pole. (Up and over, not trying to lasso the pole. Just want it to hold the rope over it)

(Actions: Sneak to flank, Attempt to throw rope over flag pole with enough slack that he can still hold both Noosed ends.)
((Figure thats a round in of itself, so ill stop there.))

TK:

Apon unfolding the note, it reads,
*If you are reading this, it would, of course, mean that you have removed these items from the North Guard Tower. While normally a major offense, punishable by removal of your right hand, I find it much more economical to utilize the untapped talent of our local thieves.
You will hear from me.
Regards,
The Silver Rat*

Morgrid:

After your small injury sustained from chasing your beloved, and ever elusive query, and your uneventful stroll to Far Reach, a human settlement you have never visited, you are stopped at the gate by a suspicious-faced guard.
"Hold, Orckin. What business do you have here?" He asked, eyeing the half-orc as if ready to strike. The other guard remains silent, watching with a passive expression.

_______________________________________________________

Pardoner Amastus:

As you walk past the guards at the main gate, and into the city, the first thing you notice past the less-than-sparkling streets of the slum district is the abundance of Beggers, Homeless, and other ill-fortuned folk. It seems Far Reach has no shortage of folk in need of a healer.
About 100 yards into the city, you see what appears to be a notice board, though it is filled past capacity with missing posters, bounties, and other such problems.
(Apon further looks, you would notice that several bounty posters, AND several missing posters reffer to a 'Black Pete', suspect #1 of the above-listed crimes.)

(Wont say much for Wraclaw since he just went to bed, no issues..... in mid-morning.... And Kara has to make her morning post as well, but this will give the rest of you some fuel.

So, I decided, I should get around to making this, since we dont have one. true enough, we need a place OOC to hash out some of the less-than-clear issues.
So, I present, the Q&A thread.
First order of business, I will be posting my GM response once Brundle has been able to post his opening story. (Or ill post on the 5th. whichever comes first)

Second, and not really an issue... Takley, you caught me off guard. Gonna take me a bit, cuz honestly, i think you know more about whatever is going on with you than i do. I would just request that after this, if you have some sort of IC dramatic thing goin on, I need to be informed so we can discuss it.
So, luckily, until Brundle posts, i have some time to think on this whole 'mysterious note' dilemna.

Arimm was quick to follow Canicus, double ended noose wrapped about his left arm, right hand on a beautifully crafted dagger. He was eager to be off. If they took to long, it could show badly on all of their records, and that meant Arimm's as well.
The better the reputation they got, the higher priority missions they would be sent on, and the more skilled enemies to vanquish.
Currently, he just hoped this 'Guardian' prooved a bit of sport, and not some petty conjuration of a novice sorcerer.

Pausing a step from the Ifrit, Arimm turned to Malagaar.
"Say Elf, there wouldn't be any sort of out-croppings or portrusions in the walls or cliffs above, would there?" He asked with a smile, giving the rope a small shake.
