Topic: A Single Stone... Subject: Company?
Desrik looked up as he heard the door open, revealing someone unfamiliar to him. And he would have remembered this man. 'Warrior' was the first word to describe this behemoth of a man that came to mind, and the Mercenary took a bit of comfort in the familiar hush going over the crowd. The slight apprehension as everyone waited to see if he was here to cause trouble.
But as the buzz of conversation slowly started again, Desrik lost interest, his gaze falling back to stare blankly at his table.
“Hail, sir,” A deep voice rumbled in front of Desrik's table, bringing his eyes back up, getting a closer view of the battle-worn armor the man wore, and the dark gaze that almost belayed his friendly greeting.
“May I rest at your table, and perhaps buy you an ale for your trouble?”
The Mercenary felt a slight grin tough his lips at the mention of an ale, and he gestured to the chair across from him.
"Well met. Feel free, mate. There is always room at my table for a fellow Warrior." He replies respectfully, pleasantly surprised he managed to speak without slurring. He spoke so little these days....

Topic: A Single Stone... Q/A Subject: conversation
How are we doin conversation posts? I am on frequently, but hate to post alot more than anyone else. Generally, i try to limit myself with 1 action-taking post per cycle of every player posting, but sometimes makes conversations short-lived and such
Are we doing convo rounds as free posts or shall I continue to limit those as well?

Topic: A Single Stone... Subject: Peace.... what a vile thing...
Desrik Darraman sat at a corner table of the The Grinning Grasscat, a Tavern he had become rather fond of in the past weeks. Since the end of the war, the 5'9" Syln had fallen into a deep rut, making ends meat doing odd jobs, his ability in battle serving him rarely. Most folk seemed happy since peace was declared, as well they should. But Desrik had only ever been a Mercenary. It had been a popular and lucrative profession for years...
But now, as soldiers laid down their arms and went back to their quiet lives and families, Desrik drown his troubles in liquor, sometimes sleeping in alleys and stables if he had to choose between a room and a bottle.
Dispite his rougher-than-ever appearence, the young man of only 26 winters was handsome, with black hair, steel green eyes, and a boyish face that seemed to have smiled alot more once apon a time. He wore studded leather over his less-than-elegant clothes, and a long sword leaned on his table, in easy reach.
Looking around at the other various patrons that were all so familiar to him by now, he sighs, drinking from his bottle. At least he had some Palts in his pocket. That meant spirits in his belly, and a warm bed for the night. That was all he could look forward to these days...

Topic: Star Wars The Imperial March Q&A Subject: Heavy Gunner
a Sniper has it's uses, but in this type of environment, and the combined actions of how our group works together, we need someone to be able to lay heavy suppressive fire and lay waste to our foes. Besides, dont we have a sniper character coming in, or did that change?

Darian nods, removing his sword and leaning it against a table and taking a seat, seeming a bit calmer now that they were here. He gestures to the Woman speaking to a small fellow and a large orc. "I was told you are to speak with her." He says simply before signalling for a drink.

As a droid, I assume you are a specific type, a type that there are more than one of? Perhaps commission the building and/or ordering of a similer model droid, modifying it to look identical to you, but that it has a large bomb inside it's chest. Then use that droid as bait while you post up with yer trusty sniper rifle, just in case the bastard is still twitching after the bomb goes off.

Sellikus ignored the arrival of what was apparently an ally, focusing completely on the Tapien. Holding the comm link before it, he growls, "Than answer it, my pet..."
He withdraws his knife, but continues holding it at the ready. While the creature seemed but a cowardly worm, it WAS a soldier, and might be playing a trick.

The inn keeper, a short, pudgy man with a balding head and a horrid Oder grimaces. "In and out, If you mean the pretty lass that left not 5 minutes ago." He grins.
"Why, be you her real husband? Wanting to know what she's doing with that scrawny pale fellow, aye?"

Darian shrugs. "I know because if they had wanted us dead or captured, we would be already..." He takes the envelope, placing it in his belt pouch for later, and adjusting his leathers.
He leads the way out of her room, down the stairs, and through the small city towards the famous Tavern....
((Leaving it open for dialog, but if you dont care to speak with him, feel free to make your next post entering the Black Boar.))

((Kara))
Darian stands as Kara returns. He looks a bit pale, yet more confident. "Are you ready to go?". He fidgets, then says, "We must make a stop at the Black Boar. I don't really know why... Wasn't told. But I don't think it's a trap."
______________________________________________________
((Everyone Else))
The Black Boar is a 2-level, log-style establishment. Though fairly new, it is dingy, dimly-lit, and generally full of unruly patrons, and the constant fog of pipe tobacco's and herbs. It is, however, the cheapest place in town.
On this particular day, the Tavern is mostly empty, most of the usual patrons out earning the coin to spend here tonight.
The Inn Keeper, standing behind the bar, is a large, flabby man with thin, short grey hair, and a scraggly beard.
His daughter, much sharing her Father's body frame, with curly brown hair and eyes of the same color. She brings food and drinks to the various patrons.

Sellikus narrows his eyes at the strange looking, blinking comm link. Growling, he reaches to snatch it from the alien's belt, and holds it before the creature, his free hand taking the knife from his teeth to hold threateningly.
"And what is this?" He asks in his thick Kiffu accent. Lowering the blade again to rest on the Tapien's thigh.
"Explain. Now."

"If I'm going to help this Tap I'm going to need to you move over a bit, maybe hold down his legs too." TK said, urging Sellikus aside.
Offering only a nod, the Kiffar scooted back, placing the blade of the knife in his teeth, and restraining each leg with a hand.
He never took his gaze from the Tapien's eyes.
