Miv woke up with her head pounding paifully. She couldn't see for a few seconds, but her eyes adjusted and she looked around. It was dark and musty, smelling of rot. She wondered for a second until she remembered. The Lycan attack, running to the cellar...

The others were not awake so she crept to the cellar exit and opened it. Miv wished to the gods she hadn't. Bodies littered the floor, the castle walls were ruins. Blood called to her but repelled her at the same time. People she knew were scattered among severed limbs and ruins of the castle.

Miv closed the door and started crying. "Wake up! The castle is destroyed, everyone is dead!" She cried and hid her face in her arms.

Erina awoke to her friend crying and looked at her. Miv was saying something about everyone being dead...

It couldn't be. Not the castle, not eh laughing people, not her family. She raced past her and threw open the door.

It was like stepping into her worst nightmares. Death and destruction were everywhere. Erina couldn't register it all. Her body was frozen in place, she couldn't move at all.

Erina finally seemed to awaken from her trance and whispered a single word. "Lycans."

A female body was layed on the ground. She groaned and then her eyes snaped open. She pulled herself up. She was in a great hall, half destroyed and litter with bodies.

Jessica ran her fingers through hair horrified. She had tried to stop this. Angels, Lycan, Vampires, Fallen angels all dead because she couldn't stop her kin. Jessica stood up. One leg rang with pain. She screamed "Julia! Father! Anyone?!" She turned into her other form: a panther.

She smelt the air. Her hope soared. She could smell at least two survivers! She ran towards the smell. Maybe her sister was there!

Erina jumped up and took on a defensive position as she heard footsteps. A panther emrged from the rebel and Erina took out the short sword she always had hidden on her thigh.

"Leave us Lycan. You have taken our family." She hissed. Miv was still in the cellar, so Erina wouldn't have to worry about her.

"Tell whoever it is you work for there is still hope. The princess lives." Erina announced and allowed her wings to spread out.

Jessica look at the Fallen angel in awe. She had never seen an Fallen angel's wings before. She turned back into her human form. The Fallen flinch at Jessica's scars. Jessica spoke "Do not hurt me. I'm a rebellious Lycan. Wait- The princess is still alive?! Did you find a little girl?" Jessica wathed the angel carefully. The Fallen angel could still kill her.

"No, I didn't find a little girl. Miv is still alive." Erina said.

Her wings drooped and then dissapeared. She turned and walked back into the cellar.

Jessica was dissapionted. She followed th fallen angel. Keeping enogh distance in case the fallen angel decide to get rid of her. Jessica limped trying to ignore the pain in her leg.

Miv was not crying anymore and Erina wrapped an arm around her shoulders.

She looked up at the Lycan. "What's wrong?" She asked, noticing the limp.

"What's wrong?" asked Erina. Jessica noticed the princess didn't react to her scars. Jessica rememberd what had happen. She and julia had stood up to thier father. Father had transformed and lunged at julia. Jessica had blocked it and her father tore at Jessica leg. Julia had escape but Jessica had been knock unconssious...

"It's just a flesh wound. It just bugging me cause it hurts." She answered

Erina looked at the Lycan. For her enemy, the girl had not done any harm to her or Miv.

"You have left the majority of the Lycans to be a rebel. That sounds familiar... I myself lived like a vampire since my parents abandoed me as a baby."

Jessica had sympanthy for the fallen angel. "Looks like my family adandened me too" she thought. She sat down slowly, wincing when her leg fired pain at her. "My name's Jessica. What's yours?"

"Erina. I'm Miv's adopted sister." She said.

Erina loosened up a bit. The Lycan didn't seem dangerous.

Jessca pulled the pant leg away to look at her leg. It wasn't al that gory just a little blood and scabbing. She pulled a cloth out of her pocket an wrapped around the wound.

Erina looked at her leg. "Do you need some help?" She asked.

"Not really unless you have some painkillers." Jessica answered. She wince when she moved her leg. Jessica hoped that wouldn't leave a scar. That was the last thing she needed. She touched the scar on her face. Jessica knew it made people nervious. Why not? Jessica had scars on her face and arms. It made her look battle scarred. Like some one who lives for fighting. Someone opposite of Jessica.
